the bible does not teach and early Christians did not have a conception that the holy spirit was a separate person in the Godhead.

Where did the "early Christans" make such a claim?

Here’s another (emphasis mine:)

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?

O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying], He trusted on the LORD [that] he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

But thou [art] he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope [when I was] upon my mother's breasts. I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou [art] my God from my mother's belly. Be not far from me; for trouble [is] near; for [there is] none to help. Many bulls have compassed me: strong [bulls] of Bashan have beset me round. They gaped upon me [with] their mouths, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion.

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me. They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me. Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog. Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel. For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

My praise [shall be] of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom [is] the LORD'S: and he [is] the governor among the nations. All [they that be] fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done [this]. – Psalms 22

Maranatha, Jesus!!!

That would mean that G-d has died. G-d cannot die, therefore Christ cannot be G-d. (Did not Christ die for your sins?)

Ah but King David penned in Psalms 22 what would be, even down to what that chief high Roman selected priest would have to say.

Paul explains the purpose of 'God' Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the *children* are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15 And deliver them who through fear of *death* were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham.

The one thing the devil will never be allowed to do is be born of woman in a flesh body as he, the devil received a death sentence eons ago...Hebrews 2:18 For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted.... The devil tempted Christ and he used the Scripture twisting it ever so lightly... so shall the children be 'tempted' as well twisting the Scripture ever so lightly.

"early Christians did not have a conception that the holy spirit was a separate person in the Godhead." Jesus Christ considered Him a separate person of the Godhead. That's sufficient testimony for myself.

I believe that Christ taught and scripture affirms that the Holy spirit is the spirit of God and Christ working on earth. Holy, significant, but not a separate person in the heavenly Godhead.

There are many glimpses of the heavenly Godhead, but in each case there is no entity called "the holy spirit" that is reigning with the father or son:

Rev 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

There are other scriptures that certainly affirm that the Godhead in heaven is composed of the father and son.

(Did not Christ die for your sins?)

Of course He did...that is what Scripture says.

God is all powerful and not confined to the limitations of your human logic.

Theologically, you need to take into the consideration that Jesus was fully God and also fully man...Throw that into your logic, as well.

For Moses exhibited supernatural abilities.

According to Scripture, God worked through Moses...Moses was a man, of slow speech, that was powerless without God.

AFTER the founder... ceased to be.

Hundreds of eyewitnesses saw Jesus after His resurrection.

For years, liberal scholars have tried to discredit this fact but have been unable.

As doubting Thomas said when he saw Jesus after His exit from the tomb: "My Lord, My God...."

“I and the Father are one” (John 10:30) It doesn’t get any clearer than that. Jesus is God. Further, “He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.” (John 5:23) Thus to reject Jesus is to reject God. And to suffer the consequences.

“G-d cannot die”

Says who?

read in context the flow of chapter five in 1 John gives testimony of the Three that are One-i.e. the Godhead.

“For there are three that bear record in heavan, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” KJV

1 John 5:7

Nearly all bible scholars acknowledge that this wording of 1 John 5:7 in the King James version is an addition to the original text. Ironically most think it was added because there was no clear statement about the holy spirit in heaven.

For example, the NASB reads:

1Jn 5:7 For there are three that testify:
1Jn 5:8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

Well, see, that’s the problem.

G-d is not made up of different parts. G-d is G-d. Remember what G-d said to Moses, after all.

Anything that contradicts that is, therefore, patently false.

Therefore, to you, G-d died.

And G-d is eternal, therefore undying.

Jesus died, as you state. And that’s an automatic disqualifier for the position of G-d.

Riiight.

And it's not too late for you to accept the truth as given to Moses by G-d.

Renounce your false, blasphemous ways! See the light of eternal truth.

A guy who lived a little over two thousand years ago and tried to do good at the time.

He attracted followers who, when he died, suddenly found themselves without any more power, so made up a story to convince others to allow them the power they so craved.

IE:

“Dang it, he’s dead! What’re we gonna do now!?!”

“I know, we’ll tell ‘em he’ll come back someday. Yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket!”

“John, you are da MAN! We are on the gravy train for LIFE!”
