I wonder if the same people who take literally the “mark” also take literally the “seal” of God. I mean it would be consistent, at least:
Revelation 7:3: “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”
As mentioned, I prefer to NOT speculate on the symbolic reference of “the mark”. What's more important,is people believing what God clearly states in the Bible. It's there for you too to read and accept.
How can you say that it isn’t that? Computer chips hold an enormous amount of information and I can’t imagine what else it could be right now. Maybe something different will come up in the future, but right now, I’m goin’ with the chip.
