The whole point of the article (which you obviously did not take the time to read) is that Pastor Hagee does not teach that the Catholic Church is the "whore of Babylon." But if your prejudices against Fundamentalist Protestants are so dear to you I don't expect you to change them over a thing so trifling as the truth.
I take it you regard either accepting the facticity of the Bible, or else taking the prophecies at their obvious, non-chr*stological face value (and thus being pro-Jewish) is "nutty."
Actually, reading J*sus into the TaNa"KH is quite nutty.
Yep, that Jesus was a nut job.
55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, 'I do not know Him,' I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." 57 Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" 58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." 59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. (John 8)He also said:
34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." (Matt. 12)
I've heard him say it, but it's been awhile. Maybe he doesn't say it any more. (That's a good thing, as it is only his view and not evident in scripture.)
But if your prejudices against Fundamentalist Protestants are so dear. . .
LOL Honey, I am a fundamentalist protestant. You shouldn't make assumptions when you have no knowledge on which to base them.
Come back when you can stop jerking your knee. ;)
