Please join me in prayer for a dear man of faith who was recently diagnosed with ALS. He is married, 58 years old, and has 3 kids, 10, 13, and 15. Please pray for his and his family's patience, unwavering faith, as well as guidance for treatment.
Also, if anyone out there has suggestions for those of us who care about this man, please let us know what we might do to help without being overbearing but lovingly helpful and encouraging.

I will certainly pray for your friend and his family. This is a particularly horrible disease.
I recently read about a former Baltimore Raven, who had been diagnosed with ALS. He was continuing to work in the Ravens front office with the help of his wife.
It’s nice to be able to read some good things about sone professional athletes. I thought that his story was inspiring.

Prayers for your friend. My Mother passed away March 28 from ALS. She had been diagnosed about 2 and a half years ago. It was a long slow painful thing to see.
