What do May 17, 2004, and May 15, 2008, have in common? One judge and a redefinition of marriage against the will of the people.
Both the Massachusetts Superior Court and the California Supreme Court by a one-judge margin redefined what marriage has always been in every culture and every religion for more than 5,000 years of recorded history.
Why does this matter?

The legalization and blessing of same-sex "marriage" in two states now is extremely alarming both in the context of end-time prophecies and the fact that God judges sin, both in individuals and in nations. And God has a particular hatred for homosexuality.
I really don't know at this point if there is any way to turn the clock back. I think that each person needs to examine his or her heart and ask themselves if they are prepared for eternity.
The hour is very late.
There are two types of marriage - civil and divine. Gay marriage may become a civil marriage, but it will never become a divine marriage. I think social conservatives have two problems when dealing with this issue: first they are making placing civil and divine on the same level (or not separating them at all) and second they are assuming a nation full of unregenerate sinners will willingly follow the Word of God when in fact the opposite is true.

Janet Folger is a strange lady, IMHO. Nice, but also strange. I’m sure that she means well, but there are times, just like with Pat Robertson, where she says things that make even many conservatives cringe.
Sorry about the multiple posts - there must have been a server problem here
Do you think anything is this article falls into that category?
The reason the homosexuals need a judge to justify them is because inside they know they are not married.
Sorry, but in this day and age there is one type of marriage - temporary. People rail about how gay marriage will be the death of the institution. No fault divorce and the loss of stigma that divorce carried crippled it long before anyone talked about civil unions. The Biblical instruction that "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" has been changed to what God hath joined, let not man put asunder...until something better comes along. The family is the foundation of our civilization, but it wasn't gay marriage that weakened that foundation. It may be the last straw but not the cause of the downfall.

EXACTLY!! I’ve been telling anyone who would listen that they may have “marriage” but, from this Catholic’s perspective at least, it ain’t Holy Matrimony
“Do you think anything is this article falls into that category?”
How about this?
“Did you know that 4,000 prophecies in that Bible have already come true down to the last detail? That leaves about 1,000 left to be fulfilled those are the ones regarding the last days before the return of Christ, which are being checked off the list right now.”
4,000? To the last detail?
Excellent point! In fact Biblically, we are NOT to judge unbelievers. We are only to lift up Yahshua to them and how much He LOVES them. We are to tell them how special they are to Yahweh. It is through the goodness of Yahweh they will be brought to repentance. However the same scripture that tells us not to judge unbelievers, tells us to hold our brethren accountable for sin. 2 different peoples, 2 different applications of Yah’s Word for correction unto righteousness.
The fact that society not only accepts a behavior and a lifestyle choice that God calls an abomination but celebrates it, enshrines special legal protections for it, and now perverts God's creation by allowing participants in the abomination to engage in something God made as a reflection of the relationship between Jesus Christ and His Church, means that we have knowingly and deliberately spit in the face of God and deserve every single bit of wrath that is headed our way.
"Marriage" is not something that fallen human beings can change or corrupted elected governments can manipulate to fit the current political climate. Is is a creation of God Himself and is removed from the tinkerings and whims and fads of sin-sick mankind.
The bill for this mutiny against God will come due soon and it will be a doosey. And I can just hear the weeping and wailing when it does.

Curious Newbie.
Pastor of what denomination?
And if something she says "makes many conservatives cringe", most of what God has said does make the world cringe.
In fact, some who cringe just decide to take it upon themselves to change and pervert the Word of God and the commandments of God so they don't have to cringe anymore.
knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."
Again, the hour is very late.
I hope you’re not implying that we as a society can’t oppose gay “marriage” because we allow divorce.
