All those who “save themselves” will be near apoplexy upon reading this thread. Does it not say “God so loved the world”? Does it not say “God is not willing that any should perish”? Don’t these oft misunderstood verses over ride those explicit teachings of the numerous verses that proclaim God’s choosing of His people? John 1:12 - 13 as example “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
