Yes, the sad little cracker has met its undignified end, so stop pestering me. The cracker, the koran, and another surprise entry have been violated and are gone. You'll have to wait until tomorrow for the details, what little of them there are. I must quickly apologize to all you good Catholics who were hoping to attend Mass, since you can't anymore I have been told many hundreds of times now that cracker abuse violates your right to practice your religion. I guess you'll have to adapt. Secular humanism is a good alternative, if you aren't already flocking to join the Mormons.
Anyway, I've got important things to do today. It's my oldest son's birthday, and I told him that as a gift to me him, I'd take myself him to see The Dark Knight. I sure hope the world doesn't end before the movie does

I'm sorry, I should have specified that I was referring to the duly enacted laws of our democratic state, local, and federal governments. Otherwise, you know, we set a precedent for some Muslim killing his teenage daughter because she didn't want to marry the guy he fixed her up with and claiming Sharia law as his protection. Understandable mistake on your part.
"Ill substitute a cream pie for the glass of water, and await his response. Cream pies are freedom of expression. Ask any conservative who spoke at a major university."
Well, that's probably pretty harmless, though not really any more productive than what Myers did.
You, my friend, are not Jesus, and would do well to take note of the numerous instances of Him explicitly instructing His followers not to use violence in defending Him or their faith.
You handle things your way and I’ll handle things as I see fit. And simply for your edification I never claimed to be Jesus. Not by a long shot. I’m just another sinner.
No, you only implicitly claimed authority equal to His.
Has Professor Myers engaged in a hate crime?

If conservatives are going to stand against the thought-policing idiocy of "hate crimes" legislation, we can't use it when it suits us.
I dunno. Are the board’s RCs done with their macho internet tough guy posturing?
No it didn’t. Don’t twist my words. I was very clear in what I said. I’m sorry if you lack the ability to understand simple declaritive sentences. My guess is that you’re not Catholic, are you?
I dunno. Are you done with your self-righteousness?
"My guess is that youre not Catholic, are you?"
That guess isn't a leap if you've read any of my posting history. No, I'm not. Perhaps you think if I was I would be calling for pitchforks and torches in response to this sad, egotistical, lost man as well. Perhaps so. There but for the grace of God...
Huh. I wonder if CAIR knows that this college professor at the University of Minnesota Morris is bragging about desecrating the Koran?
It’d be a shame if they found out. This poor professor might find himself in a government-endorsed star chamber.
But I’m sure he’s not worried about it. He is a biologist, after all.

So, would you suggest we stop cross-burnings, noose-hangings, and church and synagogue vandalism? A fine and restitution?
I disagree that hate-crime legislation is “idiocy” as you so describe it; I say it cuts both ways; I say we use it.

P.S.
Your name sounds familiar. Were you in the Fidonet Echoes at one time?
I'm going to waste no words knocking down your straw man.

I hate to disappoint you but I've got better things to do with my time than research your posting history!
Ping.
Oh, but I do: my dog in this fight is the sanctification of other Christians through imitation of Christ's humility in the face of persecution...the reputation of the name of Christ and His followers (some of us already take enough crap from unbelievers because of stuff the RCC has done)...
...and, believe it or not, the foiling of Mr. Myers' crude plea for attention, though it's probably already too late for that. Because, you see, all of this anger, all of these posts, all of the e-mails and blog comments he's received berating him, those are EXACTLY what he wants.
Not only sanctimonious but melodramatic too. You're quite the well rounded guy. I think we should probably let this drop, I seriously doubt we're going to change each other's minds.
Is that it? At least the last time someone tried to make a Scriptural case for the use of violence in this situation.
