1. People who believe in nonsense often see nonsensical things.

2. You have not read enough history. Try A Distant Mirror by Barbara Tuchman. You will see that there have been times MUCH closer to prophesy and life went on.

3. Study your own theology. No one will know. What makes you think Jesus wasn't telling the truth?

Same here. But to be up front about it, I live within throwing distance of a military airbase, so I don’t think seeing a black helicopter every day counts for me.

Here’s my tinfoil hat prediction:

Something big is going down right now. I don’t know what it is, but it will shape this election. Maybe the bailout? Maybe a VP candidate dropping? Maybe a stroke/health issue? Something.

Of course, the last time I had such a tinfoil hat feeling I thought we were going to be capturing Osama Bin Laden within 30 days. Hint: Don’t put money down on Intrade with my intuitions.... ;-)
