the number that I recall having signed the book was a little over 300 Originally, you justified the 300 based on the number the church could seat. Now you've changed the tale.

I described exactly what happened. He didn’t even have any assistants. He spent more than an hour waving his censor over the casket after he had placed the pall and the banner. The pall was solid black, fringes and all, but there was some kind of brocade in the central area but it wasn’t obvious to me from four or five rows back just what it was. That inverted white cross was vivid, even through the smoke from the censor.

He spent more than an hour waving his censor over the casket . . .Wow.
Just wow.

I think that the seating has likely changed many times.
The pastor did state to us that there were places for 300, and that extra chairs were to be provided. I’m pretty sure of that number, although I could be mistaken I suppose. I fail to see why it would matter that much anyway. There were people in all the pews for sure.

I fail to see why it would matter that much anyway. It matters to verify the veracity of the tale, which is shrinking in credibility by each post.

The bascilica only seated 300? Look at the photos. The remodel reduced the number of places, if anything, and it still seats well over 300 now, probably 1000 or more.

He spent more than an hour waving his censor over the casket . . . 30 seconds can seem like an hour to a 5-year old.
To: editor-surveyor
Of what diocese was he the bishop?

Why didn’t the bishop hold the mass in his cathedral?

Pray means "ask." If you ask your friends to pray for you, it is no different than asking Mary to pray for you."More doublespeak, eh??? Is this the way you pray to your friends that are in heaven???
We implore you to have pity today on the nations that have gone astray, on all Europe, on the whole world, that they might repent and return to your heart,"
Why would a pope not pray to God but to a 'queen of heaven'???

More doublespeak, eh??? Is this the way you pray to your friends that are in heaven??? Please precisely identify the double-speak.
To: Iscool
More doublespeak, eh???Not more, not any. When did you stop beating your wife?
Is this the way you pray to your friends that are in heaven???
What possible incentive would I have to answer that question?
Why would a Pope not pray to God but to a 'queen of heaven'???
The premise of your question is false. He often prays to both.
See what happens to you when you abandon logic and common sense?

You may want to check with iscool about double-speak. After all, you are talking about a might large censer to hold an hour’s worth of incense. Censors don’t burn anything but books, as far as I know.

Precisely identify a total fiction?
I’d like to see that.

You are asking the wrong person, I was a spectator, and a small one at that. I would guess that it was because most of the family and attendees were from San Jose.
