Speaking of Ezekiel, we know that one of the first things Obama will do after he is inaugurated is remove American support from Israel and abandon her to the demonic Islamic nations that, in fulfillment of Psalm 83:

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace , and be not still , O God.

* For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

* They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

* They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

* For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee..

have vowed to wipe Israel off the map. I have read that if Obama were elected, Israel would use the waning days of a supportive administration to try to take out some of Iran's nuclear facilities and it occurred to me that if that happens, and after Obama is safely ensconced in the White House, and the Islamic fanatics know that they have nothing to fear from America, the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 and 39 would take place.

At any rate, just as 9/11/2001 was a momentous moment in prophecy as far as America's role in end-time events, I believe Obama's "presidency" will weaken this nation to the point where, as we know, America does not merit a mention in Scripture as a player on the world stage during this time.

After I heard that Obama had won, my first thought was one of surprising clarity; I knew that from this point on it would be about my and my family's relationship with God, our dependence on Him, and nothing else. Things are moving forward at an alarming rate; all man-created political and social systems will fail, Bible prophecy will happen just as written, and, in the end, it will be, just as God has always said, what you have done with Jesus that will be the only thing that matters.

“After I heard that Obama had won, my first thought was one of surprising clarity; I knew that from this point on it would be about my and my family’s relationship with God, our dependence on Him, and nothing else.”

This had been governing my thoughts more during the lead-up to the election. In fact, as I grew more and more hopeful of a McCain-Palin victory, it struck me how that I have never found anything appealing about John McCain. I cringed when he was nominated and, until the choice of Sarah Palin, I had no desire to vote for him. As my spirit trembled within me at the thought of an Obama presidency, my “flesh” compelled me to generate enthusiasm for a...man. How foolish of me. How worldly. How carnal.

Why art thou downcast, O my soul, and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope, thou, in God!

Amen, my thoughts exactly.

My thoughts exactly. It is all about Him and our relationship with Him. My hope is in the Lord!
Psalm 37:39-40
The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, BECAUSE they take refuge in Him.
