Prayers up for every member of this family — for them to feel God’s love and the courage to let go of fear and self-centeredness.
Seeing this from Obama’s viewpoint, the pregnant woman’s mother doesn’t want her daughter to be PUNISHED with a baby.
Because of God’s love, the new baby would for certain be a wonderful blessing — for every member of the family.
God’s will be done!
I previously posted this on another thread:
I had an abortion 26 years ago. If I could change only one decision in my life, choosing abortion would be the one I would change. I have regreted it from the first moment.
Every time I think I’ve put it behind me, it catches up with me and the guilt is overwhelming. I’ve prayed and asked God’s forgiveness but it is almost impossible for me to forgive myself. One day I’ll have to face my baby in heaven and explain what I did.
There are no do-overs with abortion...just unrelenting shame, guilt, regret and sadness.
Just know that for the child of God, all sin, including abortion is covered. If He has forgiven you, try to see yourself through His eyes, not your own shame and sadness. God bless you Josa.
do you suppose it could have been stated re the subsequent mental health of the abortion seeker...
kinda got a hair trigger attitude maybe?
Prayers for you too.
Prayers for you to Josa, Thank you for sharing your past. The Lord forgives you.
This is a tragedy of America and PA people have moved so far to the left that this seems natural and normal.
Lord, help this girl and her parents choose life. May they disregard the appointment. May she have the baby and then offer it for adoption. In Jesus’ name I pray.
May The Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. |

We’ll take the child!!!
Don’t just pray - act!
Ask your sister to share these links with her co-worker - and ask that they show them to their daughter:

Also, ask your sister if she can take both of them to a local pregnancy center sometime this week, before Saturday, to explore all of the options.. It’s worth taking an hour or two off from work... (Have her look up abortion alternatives in the yellow pages).
Prayers are up.
I know someone who would adopt her baby. I will pray. Poor thing, she is probably feeling sick and unhappy and doesn’t understand how much she will one day regret this.
The Bible says children are a gift from God. He does not say just wanted children, or children with married parents, are a gift, he says *all* children are a gift from God.
I know this is true. Prayers for this young woman.
Lamb of God, protect this little lamb and the young mother who carries him in her womb. Lord, hear our prayer.
Jesus knows a repentant heart and you are His. Rejoice! If your experience causes one person to reconsider, that is a life saved.
I remember hearing from a pro-life representative (I heard this a long time ago so I’m probably not doing what they said justice) but the jist of it was...that we should also appeal to the mother in regard to their health, or rather, their future health. Sometimes, and probably most often, mothers are resentful that only the unborn baby is talked about. Maybe you sister could do some homework... research what are the after effects of abortion, i.e. physical (breast cancer statistics, sterilization, etc) and emotional, i.e. regret, depression. Maybe this mother could go to a pregnancy care clinic and get some counseling? Is her family supportive?
Please Litany, keep us posted. We’ll be praying our heart out. Can you pm me her name?
PRAYING!!!
Father Baker’s Prayer to Our Lady of Victory
O Victorious Lady, Thou who has ever such powerful influence with Thy Divine Son, in conquering the hardest of hearts, intercede for those for whom we pray, that their hearts being softened by the rays of Divine Grace, they may return to the unity of the true Faith, through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
