SPIRITUAL ADOPTION PRAYER
Dear Jesus, child of Mary, I love you and thank you for your unconditional love. I plead with you to save the life of ______ and _______, the unborn children whom we have spiritually adopted and whose lives are threatened by abortion. May these children be allowed to grow in wisdom, age and strength in your presence and in the sight of all. Amen"

By the intercession of Margaret of Castello, may God open this young mother’s heart to compassion for the helpless, innocent, and poor and may He deliver her and her child from the oppression of this murderous culture.

I agree that sometimes appealing to the health risks of abortion for the mother can be the most effective, especially for a young person when time is limited. The abortion mill won't give her the facts.
Risks are detailed hereAlso, remind her that not-getting-an-abortion is a reversible decision. She can always give up the child for adoption later. Abortion is irreversible. I will be praying also. If we had her first name if at all possible, it would be helpful.

It’s a metaphor, ma’am. Perhaps you’ve heard of them.

With all due respect, you sound like you are speaking from a point of immense pain. I will pray for you.
God calls us to love each other in what ever way is needed, not just because we are biologically related. Many women give birth but do not have the ability to be a loving mother. This is just a cruel fact of our fallen world. If we were to deny this young life another mother’s love, this would be even crueler.
