I received this first-hand description of events that happened in San Francisco this past Friday night from a member of a Christian prayer group Justice House of Prayer-San Francisco. Please note there are some graphic descriptions in the email, but you can read most of it and skip the graphic portion if you wish.
A link to the news report is included, which includes video footage. The 'tolerance' of the left and the homosexual agenda is clearly evident in their violent and reprehensible actions against this peaceful group.
No he didn't. He said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do."
He did NOT say "I forgive them."
He was asking the Father to grant forgiveness, not giving it Himself.
L
God bless them. They are truly doing the work of Christ.
I especially appreciate that their’s was not a political agenda.
The violence is a sign that the Word is penetrating the unregenerate heart.
“I and the Father are one” (John 10:30).
These people should have been thrown in jail. What they did will continue to happen if they are not stopped. That is totally ridiculous. Make these police accountable.
I agree... we as adults can protect ourselves. What next....go to christian schools and attack the kids? Do you think these people in their perverted minds won’t stop at that...You have to get the police involved and press charges. Most of these people couldn’t careless about the message of God. Most of these people have gone mad because of the unrepentant sin in their lives. This behavior feeds itself. It’s like a child who misbehaves. It get’s into a frenzy and you have to get it’s attention by a little spank on the bottom other wise it gets worse. Wake up here. We are not called to be door mats.
I think we need to remember that the Christians were on their ‘turf’, and they believed them to be invading their space. The attackers feel ‘justified’ because they feel their group was just protecting their ‘property.’ I’m not defending them, just maybe considering why the cops didn’t do anything and why the Christians cut them some slack. However, if they come to our churches, our schools and start getting violent, then I believe we absolutely MUST take a stand.
hahahaha
And what rational person expects proudly perverted people to act nice and normal?
Look, during the election there was a effigy of Sarah Palin that was hung in San Francisco for weeks. Nothing was said or done. Then two college students hung one in Virginia of Obama. The two kids were arrested in Virginia. The law got involved. Can’t all of you see what’s happening? What about that old woman who got a cross knocked out of her hands and was harrassed and bullied. Were there any arrests there? What about the church in Michigan when the church was stormed by a group of people that interrupted the service. Were there arrests there? What do we have to wait for? The KGB walking into our homes because we have a cross or Bible in our homes and throwing us in brick ovens. What happened in Germany was a gradual movement. That’s what is happening here. Just because Obama was elected president doesn’t mean we have no more rights. What do we do? Hand them everything on a silver platter....
Do not assume I have any interest in pacifism. I will accept being yelled at and called names, but violence against me, my family, or my property WILL earn a response.
I’m not saying they don’t have a right. Of course, they do.
However, from a Christian point of view, I don’t think they are gaining any converts from going up to the Castro district and worshipping on a street corner on a Friday night.
mu thoughts too
My friend, I am a preacher. It is a disgrace what happened to you guys, and clearly is indicative of the decline in the moral fiber of our nation (as is the result of this election).
I only have one question for you.
At what time do you begin to employ the principles taught by Jesus Christ? I say this not to ridicule you. But Jesus said...
“And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. Mark 6:11”
And...
“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” Matthew 7:6
I would not waste any more time on such reprobates...
“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”
Colossians 4:5
Just food for thought brother...
Christians need to fight to overcome the degrading of our society.
On the other hand when they decided to stay, after the first time they were advised to leave, the JHOPSF group also increased the possibility of harm coming to the COPS.
