Cognitive dissonance? But coming from Cardinal Levada who knows what this really means.

He says Cardinal Egans successor is from the conservative and orthodox wing of the Church. You have given a hat tip to Patrick Madrid. Is this the answer to his request for prayer, yesterday? I'm very confused. However, if what he says is true, then I have only one word that needs to be expressed.
Allelulia!

The Pope has chosen an archbishop who is dynamic, conservative and orthodox, he says traits which Vatican watchers say best match those of Archbishop Dolan. Oh ... please let this be true! In his favor are the increasing number of bishops in this jurisdiction that are very liberal and will soon be retiring. What better successor to Cardinal O'Connor than Archbishop Dolan!
