What have we “made up”? Most of what is posted are quotes from your leaders, and info posted on LDS sites.
Aye, and “there’s the rub”!
And easily verifiable with the internet.
Not like in the “old days” when you had to go down to visit the “State street Socrates” library in order to verify a quote, or spend weeks pouring over obscure journals and documents to find things (I have done that and IT IS NOT FUN).
Google is a God-send.

Ahhhhh, Bible truth. Which version is without error? Seems to be over 200,000 variations between the existing manuscripts added to all the different translations, how do YOU know which version is the correct one?I see you fianlly got your CD with the LDS Stumpers for Christians working...

Certainly, it is ok to claim that a statement is false, incomplete, in error, etc.
It is not ok to call the other Freeper a liar or tell him what he knows or doesn't know. Telling the other guy "that's a lie" is attributing to him the intent to deceive.
Reading minds or attributing motives to other Freepers is "making it personal" - the first step in most flame wars on the Religion Forum.
