I believe that assertion is askew from much of Scripture and much of the intent of much Scripture.

CHRIST DIED

THAT WE MIGHT HAVE INTIMACY WITH THE FATHER.

The curtain between us and the

HOLY OF HOLIES

WAS RENT TOP TO BOTTOM.

One doesn't get much more INTIMATE with ALMIGHTY ABBA FATHER than that, in mortal flesh.

CHRIST DIED that we might

BECOME INTIMATELY FAMILIAR WITH THE FATHER.
