FreeDumb doesn’t preen, he just let’s his feathers deteriorate. That is why he is a flightless bird. He calls that “evolution.”

Yes - funding of science is a terrible idea and has only resulted in things like mapping the genome, seeing billions of years into the past and providing great curatives like Metformin and Glumipride. Bad, BAD, scientists! How DARE you apply scientific methods to problems when there are people who donÂt understand science with other opinions! BAD BAD Scientists!!That's a straw man argument. I don't know any religious believer that wants to do away with science. The scientific method has been a boon for mankind. I appreciate science and its contributions to our health, wealth, and standard of living.
I do have a problem when faith in science tries to supplant faith in God. There is enough doubt and contradictory evidence about evolution to warrant an opposing viewpoint being presented.
But that might upset the current consensus apple cart and challenge the secular-humanist government-sponsered psuedo religion taught to our children.
Can't have independent thinking along THOSE lines now can we?

Why do you say false clues? It’s apparent that God made Adam as an adult, so it stands to reason He could do whatever he wanted in making the earth, including making it appear older than it is.

” largely because of its literal interpretation of the Bible. “
I guess I missed the part in the Bible where it discusses man riding around on saddled dinosaurs ....

That's a straw man argument. I don't know any religious believer that wants to do away with science. You are correct, but Darwinist liberals created that nonsensical strawman argument, attacking creation, because liberals don't like the Bible.
Conservatives agree it is shameful to see liberal DU attacks repeated on Free Republic.

I've never visited and probably won't ever bother, but it is amusing how much this must aggravate the hell out of the radical evolutionists.Actually, I find it rather amusing that these guys can scam the willing, again and again ....

Do not let this thread become "about" individual Freepers. That is also a form of "making it personal."
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

I am sure evolutionary biologists look at the Creation Museum as being as much an existential threat as the Flintstones cartoon.
