It’s kinda scary for me since I have chronic illnesses, but I’m aware of the danger and if God calls me home because I can’t get care, what do I have to lose? I worry more about my family.
I say we stick with 802.11. It's common and can interface on virtually any device with wireless capabilities.
Hmmmmm - now that's a very astute and interesting observation. Particularly the part that says you must swear loyalty to Islam, i.e., false god, in order to get the mark. I had never thought of it that way!
I’m not exactly an end-of-the-world conspiracy theorist, Revelation related or otherwise. Seems to me that the “mark of the beast” should be something more spiritually connected, a sign of worship, not just an RFID tag that pulls up medical records and ATM accounts. Seems a little pedestrian for a full-blown antichrist.
But if Obama suffers some kind of injury and ends up with a great big scar on his head... I’m outta here. :-)
I suggest they be placed on the right hand or the forehead, and why limit these marks to just U.S, Mexico and Canada. Surely, the whole world will eventually need them (REV 13:16).
Two states, No Dakota being one of them, have already passed legislation to ban microchips in humans, but if it becomes fed law (which I would expect under Zero) then that goes out the window.
I don’t think that a chip implanted without the knowledge or consent of the recipient can be held against them in any way. I do not think that any child who has not reached the age of knowledge and accountability would be held responsible in any way either. I don’t think anyone captured who receives a physically forced chip is accountable. And I don’t think it matters which hand the chip is in.
That said, if you KNEW that you had to fill out and sign the forms to get chipped in order to get health care, and did it anyway thinking that if you didn’t actually READ the forms you signed you wouldn’t be held accountable for the oath of allegiance buried within the application -— I’m not sure that would fly on judgment day.
I think it’s going to get down to a choice of something we really want or need, versus going without in order not to take the mark. And I’m not saying the chip IS the mark, I’m just saying that it kinda looks that way to me, and has for a very long time.
That said, IF the chip is the MARK, and IF this is in fact the end times -— even so come quickly Lord Jesus!
IF not, I’ll just keep watching and waiting.
Will check it out.
Thx.
Tara, feel free to ping the list at the basic most people level.
Blessings,
Another sobering inremental step to the MARK OF THE BEAST.
Thanks . . . could you summarize the key points, please?

“step toward” is a good summary, as this article is lacking the worship and financial aspects tied to THE mark.
But we are getting closer.
Identification ping that we were discussing.
Thank you for your honest answers.
My point is that the whole thing is silly. Not only is the whole rapture/trib scenario a complete 19th Century fabrication (and thus not a part of orthodox Christian teaching), but the idea of a microchip implant being a guaranteed ticket to Hell is just dumb. As your answer shows, the idea of the “mark” being physical doesn’t make sense; the exceptions for babies, mentally handicapped people, etc., and the improbability of the right hand/forehead being the implant sites make it highly unlikely that the scenario described in Dispensationalism would track with God’s known attributes.
Besides, any tyranny that wanted people to have implant chips wouldn’t make it a choice; they’d simply forcibly inject everyone.
The final antichrist will someday appear, of course, and Jesus will return and defeat him. Like the first antichrist (the Roman emperor Nero, whose name is numerically equivalent to “666”), this final antichrist will raise himself up as a god and demand worship, lavishing pleasures upon those who follow him and tormenting and killing those who refuse. However, the “mark” of allegiance to this new Nero will be the same “mark” all of us take every time we sin: the rational decision (”in our foreheads”) to turn one’s back on Christ, and one’s deeds of worship (our “right hands”) towards another god.
As far as the microchips themselves, I oppose them, both on the grounds of privacy and on the basis of my dignity as a human being. I am neither a pet nor livestock, and I refuse to be tagged and tracked like property. I fully expect that I and mine will suffer for this refusal, but suffering is the lot of the Christian in every age — why should I be exempt?
May God’s will be done.
A severe global economic crash could create the setting to compel the chip as the new currency reset.
I can almost hear it now...
"Citizens of the earth, let us put aside our petty differences and focus on the new man within all of us. Let us embrace our diversity and focus on mankind rather than the religious, economic, geographical, gender, and racial pettiness that has divided us in the past. Together, we can defeat hatred and intolerance and with a pledge form each of us we can forge a new tomorrow. Today we introduce the new currency. With this paperless system we can put the old world behind us and forge a new tomorrow where mankind is victorious. I ask you to pledge your oath to this new vison and to mankind today by accepting this new cashless system that will save our globe. And with your oath, your promise, your allegiance, this tiny microchip can be yours. Step away from the old hatreds and join the power of mankind. Eternity awaits your participation."
~~shiver~~
My knowledge of the microchip does not go back as far as yours but when they started implanting chips in pets, my thought was here it comes....the chip could contain your health, financial, political life...You will need a microchip to even vote...the Antichrist is close, I have been thinking that for quite a few years now...but have kept it to myself, except to warn my adult kids and I hope they have talked to my grandkids...(maybe I will)
