What do you guys think of Megashift by James Rutz? He wants Christians to try non-traditional church settings and let the Holy Spirit flow through small groups of believers as He does in Chinese house churches and African villages. I found his book riveting and wonder if we are not quenching the Spirit with our routine services.

Haven’t read the book.

However,

I’ve felt that was an increasingly

SCREAMING PRIORITY

for 2-3 decades now.

I haven't read Megashift, but I'll try to find a copy. I do think that we should allow the Holy Spirit to move as He sees fit and not try to contain Him by our traditions. I believe there should be freedom and spontaneity in worship... rather like letting it all hang out before the LORD.
