The idea that the authentic variety of Bible Codes

add or take away ANYTHING from Scripture is silly.

authentic codes are

INHERENT IN THE VERY FABRIC OF SCRIPTURE

ONLY PLACABLE THERE BY GOD!

I might try more teaching if there was evidence of a sincere desire and capacity to learn what I might have to teach.

God Bless your new Grand Nephew.

I have, BTW, posted some teaching instruction to you—to absolutely no beneficial effect as far as I can tell. Does’t encourage further such bother.

Excellent points.

Thanks big.

1. I think BIBLECODESDIGEST.COM

is the best site.

2. I think the Bible Codes thing is still somewhat of an immature mess.

3. There are some startling revelations vis a vis the AUTHENTIC CODES—codes with very long character counts.

4. Most of the codes are like a lot of Scripture prophecies—VERY CRYPTIC and given to diverse explanations or at least tentative and varied explanations, interpretations.

5. I believe the Codes stuff will progress very interestingly the closer we get to Armageddon.

6. I too suspect it is the closed book of Daniel in some aspects . . . at least it was closed until computers—which “just happen” to have arrived in time for the END TIMES! LOL.

7. I was reared on the KJV and have deep affection and respect for it. It was used by me like a teddy bear literally in my bed during many long dark nights of the soul as a teen and even in some later years.

8. I do NOT think the KJV is flawless.

9. I do NOT think the KJV is the only valid translation.

10. God is bigger than translator errors etc. His Word will accomplish that which it was sent to accomplish regardless of human mangling. Mangling is still hideous and to be avoided whenever possible. However, God is bigger than the manglers.

11. I like the AMPLIFIED and THE MESSAGE because I believe both ferret out stuff for non-Hebrew and non-Greek users like me that others don’t. I think Petersen’s THE MESSAGE is wonderful in bringing the Scriptures back to the flavor, vitality, ‘earthy-humanness’ of the vernacular of the original languages Scripture was written in. GOD IS HOLY BUT OT PRISSY. HIS WORD IS NOT PRISSY IN THE ORIGINALS EITHER.

12. When studying a passage, I like to consult a diversity of translations. However, what’s embedded in my memory is KJV. So, when consulting BIBLEGATEWAY.COM, I usually have to start with KJV because that’s how those verses are logged in my memory. So I have to use KJV keywords.

UTTER NONSENSE.

SCRIPTURE IS QUITE CLEAR IT’S BOTH.

God went to a LOT of painstaking description on Scripture insuring we were presented with the PHYSICAL picture of future events, structures, buildings, nations etc.

The New Jerusalem happens to be

. . . drum roll . . .

PHYSICAL.

Any other interpretation of related Scriptures is a bastardized virtually blasphemous UNBIBLICAL trashing of Scripture.

BTW,

hotshot,

I haven’t used a single Bible Code on this thread.

Your mention of the phenomenon seems to be designed to be only and totally for the purposes of derision—and that—on this thread—exceedingly unfairly.

Yet you malign my Christianity.

Actually, I haven’t used a Bible Code on any thread for more than a year, IIRC.

I haven’t even bothered to check in to the main site very often in a long time. Just hasn’t been a priority.

Carrying an offense or a grudge is not particularly Christian, certainly over such a long period of time.

What they Believe was at the bottom of the page. Gotta be impressed, though, this "ministry" has quite the track record. It's a good thing the entire "ministry" isn't built around the predictions and personality of one guy. /sacr

Missed it, thanks.

Seems pretty barebones to me, with some oddly phrased details.

Looks like an old, now repurposed, factory. I wonder if they've got the whole building, or a corner of the basement.

What part of what Galatians 3:29 do you disagree with?

Carrying an offense or a grudge is not particularly Christian, certainly over such a long period of time.

Take your own advice, hypocrite. You carry the grudge and offense of this issue into this thread from so many others, then you cry foul of their "maligning your Christianity" as you do the very same to them at an intensely personal level. Again, a very poor witness on your part. I do not presume to speak to the state of your soul, but for you to so attack others who are ostensibly brothers and sisters in Christ does just as much damage as any of their allegedly false eschatology could.

Jesus said we will be known to the world by the love we show each other. If you want to disagree with your bretheren over matters of Biblical interpretation and eschatology, fine...by all means do so. Iron sharpens iron. But to so viciously attack those who disagree with you on this one narrow field of Biblical interpretation shows nothing of the love you're called to bring. Can you not vigorously defend your view and argue your points without such personal attacks, Quix? I've seen you do it before...I know you're capable.

Please, brother...let go of the vitriol and focus on the issues.

Do not make this thread "about" individual Freepers. That is also a form of "making it personal."

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

“Buying and selling, properly understood, are worship-related rituals (Isa. 55:1–2). “This is established in [Revelation] 3:18 (and compare 21:6). When those who refuse the mark of the Beast are not allowed to buy and sell, it means that they are expelled from the synagogue and Temple.”

After the abomination that causes desolation?

Um...this interpretation is a real stretch. Why, later, are damend called those who “worshipped the beast” rahter than those who bought and sold wiht the neast. makes no sense.

I’ll stick to the interpretation in the normal sense, where buying and selling means...well...buying and selling. And in that sense, I’m off to starbucks to buy a coffee...not worship there.

We have been over that before.

That is a non-sequitur.

Of course, I believe in all of Scripture, including all of Galatians.

That has nothing to do with my points about God NOT abandoning HIS PROMISES—HIS EVERLASTING PROMISES THAT HE HAS EMPHASIZED AS HIS EVERLASTING PROMISES TO THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB.

Folks can call God a liar if they wish. I don’t recommend it.

PERHAPS it's time for a refresher course . . .

It appears that a major proportion of the naysayers need some ENGLISH REFRESHER LESSONS:

“personal”

IS NOT REALLY that difficult a concept.

It comes from the word “person.”

A “PERSON” is

DIFFERENT from

1. A GROUP
2. THEY
3. Y’ALL
4. THEM
5. SOME OF THEM
6. CADRE
7. A COLLECTION OF

WHICH IS DIFFERENT FROM [i.e. NOT the SAME as]:

A “PERSON” IS directly associated with

1. YOU
2. HE
3. SHE

I realize that the more chronic naysayers tend to have a dreadfully difficult time distinguishing between

DIFFERENT

VS

SAME

but it does make it a lot easier when some of them try.

AND, I realize that the more chronic naysayers have this THING about

OBSESSIVE, ADDICTIVE EXTRAPOLATING, ASSUMING, INFERRING . . .

however, as I understand things . . .

EXTRAPOLATING, ASSUMING, INFERRING

[accurately or not]

PERSONAL “INSULT” DOES NOT COUNT.

The rules have to do with plainly written PERSONAL insult.

We will return screens to regularly scheduled programming after the following freebie additional refresher lesson:

This English Comprehension lesson has concluded.

DISTINCTIONS REALLY ARE IMPORTANT.

DISTINGUISHING

THE DIFFERENCE

BETWEEN

THE CHURCH AGE

VS THE MILLENNIAL AGE

IS IMPORTANT IN SCRIPTURE. It could rationally be considered important in life.

DISTINGUISHING

THE DIFFERENCE

BETWEEN

AN INDIVIDUAL

VS

A GROUP

IS IMPORTANT.

DISTINGUISHING

THE DIFFERENCE

BETWEEN

calling even a group idiotic vs a belief, perspective, idea, doctrine idiotic

IS IMPORTANT.

I’m beginning to wonder if it’s something in the holy water that REPLACEMENTARIAN, preterist, amil’s might drink that renders them incapable of making important distinctions.

Of course, the awake, aware and alert need no such lessons and the otherwise will not heed them but . . . just for the record, there they are! LOL.
