Knock 'apparition' to attract 50,000 [clairvoiyant predicts appearance at Ireland's Knock Shrine]
The Mayo News ^ | October 5, 2009 | Michael Commins

DUBLIN based clairvoyant Joe Coleman has forecast there will be 50,000 people in Knock on Sunday for the predicted ‘apparition’ of Our Lady at 3pm at the Shrine church.

Mr Coleman, who made a similar prediction in relation to an appearance at Kerrytown shrine near Dungloe last week, claims that 14 local people witnessed the Donegal phenomenon.

Since his appearance on the Afternoon show on RTE last Friday, there has been a surge of interest countrywide and numerous calls have been fielded by staff at Knock Shrine. The Ballyfermot man claims he has regular visions of Our Lady since 1986.

He told The Mayo News yesterday evening (Monday): “I have seen her twice in recent months in the Gable chapel at Knock. The statue comes alive, she opens her arms, a lovely pink cloak comes around her, there are stars above her head, she turned into Jesus, then to Padre Pio and then back to herself. While the vision is happening, I can see nothing else in the chapel.

“Myself and Keith Henderson (a friend) have witnessed this vision along with others. She appeared to me on the hill in Medjugorje on Good Friday. Do you want to know how many will be in Knock on Sunday? She has told me there will be 50,000 present. She has told me she wants to make the biggest statement she has ever made on this earth. Knock is the spiritual heart of Ireland. They will come from all over the world on Sunday. Sky News and Vatican Radio and numerous other channels and radio stations will be present.”

Months ago, Joe predicted an apparition would take place near Dungloe. A short report in the Watcher’s Lamp, an American based publication which monitors spiritual deception and world events from a Biblical perspective, in recent days noted: “The (Donegal) event which occurred on Tuesday night had been predicted by a Dublin-based faith healer and clairvoyant, who claims to have regular visions and messages. Fourteen people gathered on Tuesday night at the Kerrytown shrine outside Dungloe, and shortly after 8 o'clock, they reported seeing crosses flash in the sky.

“Those gathered say that they were stunned by the apparition, which went on for a reported hour. One local man from Ardara, John Boyle, said: “It was amazing. I am still on an emotional high. All but one person seemed to see the same thing."

Mr Coleman says there is a great need for reconciliation and going back to the churches.

“Sadly, people don’t seem to have the love for each other anymore. She wants to bring the earth back to what it should be, Paradise on earth.”

Mr Pat Lavelle, assistant manager at Knock Shrine, said he was well aware of the predictions made by Joe Coleman and confirmed that numerous enquiries had been received by the shrine in recent days.

“The annual Dominican pilgrimage takes place next Sunday. It is the last of the pilgrimage season and always attracts a good crowd. Our Lady is present in Knock every day. However, the curiosity factor could well lead to extra people coming to Knock on next Sunday.”

I love the story of the Knock apparition. Especially the part about the old town drunk trying to get the parish priest to come and see the apparition, but he thought she had hit the sauce again. In the morning he had found out it was true. The sad part was that he had prayed and prayed for a heavenly sign to help the people, only to miss out when the event happened. But he also thought that was part of God’s plan also, it was for the people not for him.

Fire the divide and conquer politicians. That ought to do it.
The millennium of peace has no government. Every man sits under his own vine, and no man is allowed to take it from him.

There's no question he's destroying more and more by the day. Nothing good can come from his life long anger and bitterness.

If the Devil can appear as an angel of light, is it possible he could also appear as Mary in a pink robe?

Turns into Jesus, then Padre Pio, then back to Jesus? I don’t seem to recall anyplace in the Bible where Jesus (or anyone else) morphed into someone else.

Sounds like a complete huckster trying to ride on the coat-tails of a church-certified, but long-ago apparition. HOWEVER, there seems to be an uptick in calling prophets, “clairvoyants.”

If they don’t label themselves as “prophet”, then they think they can avoid (rightfully) being called a “false prophet”.

I wasn’t thinking of people’s self-labeling.
