Three cheers! Now if only all Catholics Bishops are ordered by the Vatican to do the same; and deny the Holy Eucharist to the likes of Pelosi, the Church would renew itself by leaps and bounds. And then there is the matter of Cardinal Mahony who should be given the boot before he reaches 75.
Praise be to God that He still protects His Church. God bless Bishop Alexander K. Sample!
Am especially heartened to see it is a Bishop among the new generation taking a stand for the basic teachings of the church!
Someone stood up and used good church discipline!
Why isn’t the Vatican doing something about these radical heretics?
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's a good question!
Good on him.
***I do not understand how these groups, New Ways Ministry and Call to Action, are not excommunicated by ALL US diocese (the article says only one)...what is wrong with American Catholic leaders?***
It takes much to steer the USCCB Titanic away from the icebergs. Pope Benedict XVI has come to us at the turning of the tide...

Good for this Bishop. In most normal minds, the controversy would be if they DID allow them to.
Mahoney should be booted. I would be happy if he were simply banished to the Vatican basement to live out his days working in the kitchen or filing.
Video tape it if you do. ;-)
Only if people poke their eyes out first. Saves them the trouble of doing it after watching.

be nice if more had the same convictions and courage

Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
Good news.
And Fr. Jenkins of UND too! (Give him the boot!)
When people don’t act on their convictions, they won’t have the convictions for long.
May his example inspire courage in others!
