Does 11:11 hold any biblical significance?

I have read on many christian websites the numbers 11:11 have some kind of significance regarding the End Times.

I really never have paid much mind to 11:11 and what is written about it, but strangely enough within the last week, I woke up and looked at my digital clock and it said 11:11, I thought that's kinda wierd but went back to sleep and did not think about it.

However within a week it happened again, and that's when it struck me as more than a coinicidence, anyway's just wanted to find out your take on this? and if you have awoken lately to see 11:11 on your clock.

Methinks God does not limit Himself to matching arbitrary patterns in manmade measurements. 11:11 happens twice every day, no big deal.

FWIW, for a long time I was keenly aware of looking at clocks at 1:28, 2:56 and 5:12 - numbers which are important to any hardcore computer geek.

The main point is that you happen to look at a clock (or other source of numbers), and notice those numbers which are meaningful to you, completely ignoring those numbers that aren’t, and ignoring those times you don’t see the meaningful numbers.

My daughter, 11, says that yuo’re supposed to make a wish whenever the digital clock shows the same numbers; 5:55, 4:44, etc. I tell her that I will pray, but I don’t make wishes. Am I a bad dad?

11:11 is a psychological phenomena because of the way the mind looks for pattern. As numbers on their own, they are no more significant than 55:55 or 8675309.

But - the mind looks for patterns because patterns contain information.

Granted, sometimes the information is: "this pattern has no value."

But sometimes the pattern is: "this pattern is phi."

So analyzing paterns with other patterns like the scientific method, or recursive analysis, or whatever, is often necessary.

But if someday 11:11 is found to be the square-root of the interstellar drive, you'll have to take the pancake off the bunny's head.

Conservatives are supposed to be the real reality based community, but signs on FR point to us becoming the same bunch of ooga-booga hysterics the libs are. “Oh no, pit bulls, road rage, Alar apples, 11:11...AAAAIIIIEEEEE!!”

Really, give me some sort of empirical evidence that more people are waking up at 11:11pm than were doing so last year, or ten years ago. Good grief.

it is not hysterics, but it is discussion as the veil has been lifted as it was told in the Book of Daniel...

I don’t think it is ooga booga, as it is the Divine Wisdom that GOD has enlightened us with as believers....

I am not saying that 11:11 is proof of anything, but I will say if GOD has lifted his veil, then why shouldn’t we see things of a divine nature?
