Apologies for the vanity. I'm looking for FReepers in Dallas, TX to try to regain contact with someone in an Evangelical Church there.
They helped me make it through one of the toughest times of my life and promised to email me later, but never did. I never got a chance to properly thank them and tell them my life was truly changed.
The only clues I have are that they had in 2006 an assistant pastor whose voice sounded like Al Michaels and they were about 20 minutes away from downtown Dallas.
Can someone jog my memory?
Not sure, but when I read your post a name came to mind, could it have been John Mark Caton? I believe he was at Prestonwood about then as associate pastor.
Oh wow. There are so many large evangelical churches in the area. If you have any more clues I will try and help. I’m in Coppell(DFW) area and involved in large church in the area and know several of the others in the area.
The only other clue I can remember is that they send a bus to the Austin Street homeless shelter to bring people to the morning worship service.
He has a son and a daughter both of whom would be either late High School school or college students about now. He was in charge of their homeless ministry.
You could go to Dallas Craig’s List and put an ad there, might help
