Wow...you are simply wrong—not on religious accounts, but on literary. The most humble and smartest of literary critics, even non-Christian ones, will at least be willing to attest to the internal consistency of the Word and its overall message, considering it consists of 66 books, 40 different authors from very diverse backgrounds, and 3 different languages.

It is the most ingenious piece of literature ever! WHether you think its fiction or not.

***

“Now, in spite of all of these different factors we find the Bible to be a consistent, harmonious, perfectly unified account of how God is seeking to reconcile sinners back to Himself through the person of His Son, Jesus Christ. This is an amazing evidence of its divine origin. If you’re not convinced, go through your neighborhood and ask just 10 of your neighbors, what their beliefs are on the nature of the universe, the meaning of life, the origin of evil, the way of salvation, etc. and you’ll immediately see how likely it is to have a variety of contradicting opinions!” ~ Charlie H. Campbell

I don't think it is fiction. I think it is the classic epic of the early Jews and their covenant with God, based on history. But it is not the modern science or history book that some Christians here try to make it. There was no computer to type out the history at the time. The writers would have no idea what you are talking about.

Great test for ID, analyze the Bible.
