BLUE MOON , Believe and Receive
http://thejoshuachronicles.blogspot.com/ ^

Posted on 12/30/2009 9:21:43 PM PST by Jedediah

To my Children that are ready , that are calling on me even now ,

I AM and shall be your breakthrough !Merely shake off all these sacred cows ,

Fast the Earth completely , leave within your vessel only me ,

So that you may walk in my fullness as one with me ,

Take on my likeness in Spirit and Truth ,

Encourage others to walk as I do ,

For I AM the Resurrection , The Power , The Way ,

And it is in The Father's lap I desire you to stay ,

Do not look to the left or the right ,

Stay focused on My face and on My light ,

For the time is not coming it is here even now ,

Merely lift your hands and praise Me , receive My Breath now ,

This is your moment do not hesitate ,

Come to your Savior before it's to late ,

Your time and intimacy with me restores and brings you through ,

All the walls of Jericho of the enemy is futile ,

For I AM The Creator of the heavens and man ,

And truly I AM your promised land ,

Seek Me , Eat Me , Drink Me in ,

So that My fullness in you can truly begin !

These are the words of Him that is Faithful and True ,

And on this blue moon I AM coming to you ,

Can you receive My Breath in this way ,

For The Father is flowing so receive all he has for you on this day ,

I said the signs show My hand ,

Be not as the kings that trespassed attempting to take My land ,

For you are My Chosen and I love you ,

So receive all on this day I AM bestowing on you ,

My signet , My Calling , My name on your chest ,

this and much more , will you pass this test ?!

For truly My messengers you must receive ,

For they come in My name and it is My promise you must believe ,

So take all of The Father I AM giving to you ,

For these words are Faithful and these words are True .

John 14:9-11

9Jesus replied, Have I been with all of you for so long a time, and do you not recognize and know Me yet, Philip? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say then, Show us the Father?

10Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the (His) works (His own miracles, deeds of power).

11Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the sake of the [very] works themselves. [If you cannot trust Me, at least let these works that I do in My Father's name convince you.]

Just commenting on the Blue Moon part... :-)

From Wikipedia "Blue Moon"

A blue moon is a full moon that is not timed to the regular monthly pattern. Most years have twelve full moons which occur approximately monthly, but in addition to those twelve full lunar cycles, each solar calendar year contains an excess of roughly eleven days compared to the lunar year. The extra days accumulate, so that every two or three years (on average about every 2.7154 years[1]), there is an extra full moon. The extra moon is called a "blue moon." Different definitions place the "extra" moon at different times.

Just for the fun of it, I’m going to disregard my own advice to a bemused observer in your last thread and ask what others have asked you numerous times before without getting a straight answer:

What is this supposed to be? Some type of prophetic word? Inspirational/devotional writing? Just poetry? Pure self-indulgence?

Here are the "named moons" for 2010... (from Wikipedia "Blue Moon")

For the year 2010, these are the dates of the moons in the northern hemisphere using UTC calculations. These dates use the actual solstices and not the artificial solstices that give each season an equal number of days.

  1. 2009 December 16 - January 14 = Early Winter moon
  2. January 15 - February 13 = Mid Winter moon
  3. February 14 - March 14 = Late Winter moon
  4. March 15 - April 13 = Early Spring moon
  5. April 14 - May 13 = Mid Spring moon
  6. May 14 - June 11 = Late Spring moon
  7. June 12 - July 10 = Early Summer moon
  8. July 11 - August 9 = Mid Summer moon
  9. August 10 - September 7 = Late Summer moon
  10. September 8 - October 6 = Early Fall moon
  11. October 7 - November 5 = Mid Fall moon
  12. November 6 - December 4 = Blue moon
  13. December 5 - 2011 January 3 = Late Fall moon

Once In A Blue Moon

By Jay Michaels
Story Published: Dec 30, 2009 at 8:38 PM CST

When somebody says that something happens 'every once in a blue moon,' usually they mean it doesn't happen very often.

A local astronomer says that back in the 1940's, a researcher for 'Sky and Telescope Magazine' managed to misquote the definition of a blue moon as being a second full moon during a calendar month.

He says the Maine Farmer's Almanac defined the third full moon during a season – as a blue moon.

Faulkner Planetarium Manager Rick Greenawald says, “If there were four full moons during one of those seasons, the third full moon was referred to as the blue moon to keep the other moons in line with their traditional interpretation, harvest, hunters, and so forth.”

He says in seven out of 19 years, a total of 13 full moons will occur in a twelve month period; and he says by using the original method blue moons happen more often than the 'two full moons in a calendar month' reckoning.

It appears that "real definition" of a "Blue Moon" is the third full moon in a season of four moons is the Blue Moon...

As simply as can be described, according to Trefethen's almanac, there are normally three full Moons for each season of the year. But when a particular season ends up containing four full Moons, then the third of that season is called a Blue Moon!

What is a "Blue Moon"?

For more than half a century, whenever two full Moons appeared in a single month (which happens on average every 2 1/2 to 3 years), the second has been christened a "Blue Moon." In our lexicon, we describe an unusual event as happening "Once in a Blue Moon." This expression was first noted back in 1821 and refers to occurrences that are uncommon, though not truly rare.

On past occasions, usually after vast forest fires or major volcanic eruptions, the Moon has reportedly taken on a bluish or lavender hue. Soot and ash particles, propelled high into the Earth's atmosphere, can sometimes make the Moon appear bluish.

Why "Blue" Moon? For the longest time nobody knew exactly why the second full Moon of a calendar month was designated as a Blue Moon. One explanation connects it with the word "belewe" from the Old English, meaning, "to betray." Perhaps, then, the Moon was "belewe" because it betrayed the usual perception of one full Moon per month. However, in the March 1999 issue of Sky & Telescope magazine, author Phillip Hiscock revealed one somewhat confusing origin of this term. It seems that the modern custom of naming the second full Moon of a month "blue," came from an article published in the March 1946 Sky & Telescope magazine. The article was "Once in a Blue Moon," written by James Hugh Pruett. In this article, Pruett interpreted what he read in a publication known as the Maine Farmers' Almanac (no relation to this Farmers' Almanac, published in Lewiston, Maine), and declared that a second full Moon in a calendar month is a "Blue Moon."

However, after reviewing the Maine Farmer's Almanac, Hiscock found that during the editorship of Henry Porter Trefethen (1932 to 1957), the Maine Farmers' Almanac made occasional reference to a Blue Moon, but derived it from a completely different (and rather convoluted) seasonal rule. As simply as can be described, according to Trefethen's almanac, there are normally three full Moons for each season of the year. But when a particular season ends up containing four full Moons, then the third of that season is called a Blue Moon! To make matters more confusing, the beginning of the seasons listed in Trefethen's almanac were fixed. A fictitious or dynamical mean Sun produced four seasons of equal length with dates which differed slightly from more conventional calculations. So, basically the current use of "Blue Moon" to mean the second full Moon in a month can be traced to a 55-year-old mistake in Sky & Telescope magazine.

And all of this has been a far sight more worthwhile and informative than any of Jedediah’s pontifications, the Scripture quotations (which he at least had the decency not to claim credit for) excluded.

Well, I don’t know about Jedediah’s postings before, since I haven’t followed them, but even if I do say so myself, this “Blue Moon” thing has been very interesting to me — especially since it shows how our mainstream press can’t even get their facts straight about what a “Blue Moon” is... since it’s a pretty simple thing, once you get down to it.

I see all sorts of press reports saying — in error — that we’re coming on a Blue Moon... boy are they wrong! .... LOL...

You were saying ...

Check out moons and especially new moons in the bible !

Well, to tell you the truth, I've never heard of a "Blue Moon" in the Bible. But, maybe you're not talking about a Blue Moon... and that's okay.

But, in mentioning the Moon (in context of the Blue Moon) -- we are talking about a "full moon" -- and in the Bible it seems that the relevance is on the New Moon, mostly -- which is the exact opposite (I would say) of the full moon.

The calendar and the Festivals of the Lord are timed according to the New Moon (or shortly thereafter, rather...) and not the way we think about it. Anyway..., I'm not sure of the relevance, in the Bible of "full moons" or "Blue Moons", but I am about the New Moons... :-)

The fourth day saw the material creation finished (for on the fifth and sixth days it was only the furnishing and peopling of the earth with living creatures). The sun, moon, and stars completed the work, and they were to give light upon the earth which had been created, and to rule over the day and over the night (Genesis 1:14-19).

Four is the number of the great elements—earth, air, fire, and water.

Four are the regions of the earth—north, south, east, and west.

Four are the divisions of the day—morning, noon, evening, and midnight. Or in our Lord’s words, when He speaks of His coming at evening, midnight, cock-crowing, or in the morning (Mark 13:35). We are never to put off His coming in our minds beyond tomorrow morning.

Four are the seasons of the year—spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Four are the great variations of the lunar phases.

Well..., if you’re trying to say that there is some significance to the Blue Moon and numerology in the Bible and/or something else... (that I just don’t know about) — then it’s simply too esoteric for me... unfortunately.... :-)

At least (for me, anyway) the Bible is not too esoteric and I do gain a lot from it. But, then again, I don’t engage in numerology, either, when studying the Bible...

The reason I ask is that, the way you are writing, it sounds as if you were writing AS God. So, either you claim yourself as a prophet, or claim yourself as God.
The prophets, if you haven’t noticed, say “Thus sayeth the Lord...” before prophetic utterings.

Is this intended as a prophesy? Are you a prophet?

What is an “aaronic blessing”? Aaron was the forefather of the priests under the old covenant. I live under the new covenant, with a priesthood of all believers under Christ the great high priest.

What do you mean when you refer to God “literally” turning His face and light on us? You say this in the context of continual vague references to the moon; are you predicting some out-of-the-ordinary cosmological event will occur? You say this (whatever it is) will be a sign, yet you also say it will take place in person for those willing to wait on God. What do you mean by that? Are you saying these people will experience a vision of or appearance by the Lord similar to Paul’s experience on the Damascus road?

(For those of you who may be spectating, note that this latter part about something that happens “in person” is conveniently unfalsifiable, since there is always the excuse that people were not “willing to wait upon The Lord.”)

You should expect no answer to this question when you have been unwilling to answer so many repeated, simple and direct questions posed to you, though irishtenor may of course choose to answer it if he is a sufficiently good humor.

Again, just for kicks: Are you a prophet?

Actually, I won’t tell the Spirit what to do. If he wants me to speak in tongues, I will.
HOWEVER, tongues is the LEAST of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Why be concerned about that when it is the Spirit that allows prophets to prophesy.

To: Dan Middleton

I am also wondering what manifestation of tongues he is concerned about. Is it speaking a prayer language to God, or is it the more effectual and edifying speaking an unknown tongue (to you) to someone who speaks that language, thus being able to prophesy to him. (Once again, an edifying experience)

I hope not. I thought maybe he'd finally be in the mood to explain this post of his from July:

Observe August carefully , there will be a shift in the leadership of Italy where it really counts .You could also witness a European nation shaken to its very core and perhaps lose its flag soon . . .

What are we to make of this, Jedediah? Maybe you didn't mean THIS past August, August 2009, when you said that in July 2009?

I note with some perplexity that on your blog, you refer to your postings as "prophetic" and "revelation." Yet when people here ask if you consider yourself a prophet, or if you consider your writings prophetic or to be divinely inspired, you seem to have an almost pathological aversion to giving an answer.

do you believe speaking in tongues is for today ?

1 Corinthians 14:2-4
14:2 For he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him]; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men [to] edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
14:4 He that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. - KJV

It is clear that speaking in tongues and prophesying are two different gifts with separate functions.
According to the Bible, speaking in tongues is not prophesying.
How then can you give an interpretation of tongues as prophesy?

I was asked not to put that up so I did as I was asked .

This was spoken in tongues by a woman in Oregon and interpreted .

1 Corinthians 14:34 - And still in the context of speaking in tongues...

"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law." - KJV

This was spoken in tongues by a woman in Oregon

Crack addicts tend to babble.

One should not attach much importance to it.

Four are the great variations of the lunar phases.

Four are the accepted medications used to combat heroin addiction:

Buprenorphine, Naloxone, Methadone, Naltrexone

Try some soon.

Thanks for giving the Biblical references in support to what I said up above ...

... and in the Bible it seems that the relevance is on the New Moon, mostly -- which is the exact opposite (I would say) of the full moon.

I appreciate that... :-)

Crack addicts tend to babble.

Many things can cause it.

Methinks the sycophantic amen chorus is doing the "prophet" no favor.

Here is Isaiahs take on a full moon which is wrather interesting considering where our youngsters are focused on now and many adults “ themselves “. . .

Isaiah 30
Woe to the Obstinate Nation
1 “Woe to the obstinate children,”
declares the LORD,
“to those who carry out plans that are not mine,
forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit,
heaping sin upon sin;
2 who go down to Egypt
without consulting me;
who look for help to Pharaoh’s protection,
to Egypt’s shade for refuge.

3 But Pharaoh’s protection will be to your shame,
Egypt’s shade will bring you disgrace.

4 Though they have officials in Zoan
and their envoys have arrived in Hanes,

5 everyone will be put to shame
because of a people useless to them,
who bring neither help nor advantage,
but only shame and disgrace.”

6 An oracle concerning the animals of the Negev:
Through a land of hardship and distress,
of lions and lionesses,
of adders and darting snakes,
the envoys carry their riches on donkeys’ backs,
their treasures on the humps of camels,
to that unprofitable nation,

7 to Egypt, whose help is utterly useless.
Therefore I call her
Rahab the Do-Nothing.

8 Go now, write it on a tablet for them,
inscribe it on a scroll,
that for the days to come
it may be an everlasting witness.

9 These are rebellious people, deceitful children,
children unwilling to listen to the LORD’s instruction.

10 They say to the seers,
“See no more visions!”
and to the prophets,
“Give us no more visions of what is right!
Tell us pleasant things,
prophesy illusions.

11 Leave this way,
get off this path,
and stop confronting us
with the Holy One of Israel!”

12 Therefore, this is what the Holy One of Israel says:
“Because you have rejected this message,
relied on oppression
and depended on deceit,

13 this sin will become for you
like a high wall, cracked and bulging,
that collapses suddenly, in an instant.

14 It will break in pieces like pottery,
shattered so mercilessly
that among its pieces not a fragment will be found
for taking coals from a hearth
or scooping water out of a cistern.”

15 This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says:
“In repentance and rest is your salvation,
in quietness and trust is your strength,
but you would have none of it.

16 You said, ‘No, we will flee on horses.’
Therefore you will flee!
You said, ‘We will ride off on swift horses.’
Therefore your pursuers will be swift!

17 A thousand will flee
at the threat of one;
at the threat of five
you will all flee away,
till you are left
like a flagstaff on a mountaintop,
like a banner on a hill.”

18 Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you;
he rises to show you compassion.
For the LORD is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him!

19 O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. 20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. 21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” 22 Then you will defile your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, “Away with you!”

23 He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows. 24 The oxen and donkeys that work the soil will eat fodder and mash, spread out with fork and shovel. 25 In the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall, streams of water will flow on every high mountain and every lofty hill. 26 The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.

27 See, the Name of the LORD comes from afar,
with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke;
his lips are full of wrath,
and his tongue is a consuming fire.

28 His breath is like a rushing torrent,
rising up to the neck.
He shakes the nations in the sieve of destruction;
he places in the jaws of the peoples
a bit that leads them astray.

29 And you will sing
as on the night you celebrate a holy festival;
your hearts will rejoice
as when people go up with flutes
to the mountain of the LORD,
to the Rock of Israel.

30 The LORD will cause men to hear his majestic voice
and will make them see his arm coming down
with raging anger and consuming fire,
with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.

31 The voice of the LORD will shatter Assyria;
with his scepter he will strike them down.

32 Every stroke the LORD lays on them
with his punishing rod
will be to the music of tambourines and harps,
as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.

33 Topheth has long been prepared;
it has been made ready for the king.
Its fire pit has been made deep and wide,
with an abundance of fire and wood;
the breath of the LORD,
like a stream of burning sulfur,
sets it ablaze.

You were quoting ...
  Isaiah 30:26

Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, And
the light of the sun will be sevenfold, As the light of seven days,
In the day that the Lord binds up the bruise of His people And heals
  the stroke of their wound.

That's interesting that the moon is going to be shining as bright as the sun and the sun will be seven times brighter. I would say that we're in for a lot of "global warming" then... :-)
