The Catholic Church has kinda had to make abuse by priests somewhat public considering they have now paid out what over two billion in civil lawsuits to victims.
But they don’t have to release all these 50 year old documents about dead people who aren’t part of any current civil or criminal case.
Yet they are - because that’s how you clean out the corruption and make sure it never happens again. But nobody gives them credit for it. Nope just more sensationalized media bashing.
Because the media is interested in protecting children, they’re interested in protecting abortion and the Church has been the biggest stumbling block that still speaks against killing children.
