I am inclined to think there will be a merge type or agreement between muslims and the Pope as to the one world religion when the time comes.....both will be instrumental to the anti-christ. Of late the pope has been increasingly chummy with islamic leadership...although this has been to some degree in the past it is moving right along....interesting the recent scandle in the church has emboldened the imans that islam will conquer the west.
But how do you know that this isn't "The One"? If I didn't have to work, I'd be out on the roof waiting for the rapture; or fishing, or something else.
I think there is a good possibility the old Roman Empire is involved.

The one world religion worshiping the beast I don't see the RCC involved in. I am assuming a good number of RC's will be raptured despite their church's theological shortcomings. Any leadership that remains would have to realize their error.

I think this may be as much political positioning as it is rapprochement. The RCC would love to be the controlling authority over Jerusalem in any peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians.

It’s a little surreal, to say the least. How many strong earthquakes have there been THIS YEAR ALONE? Now the Volcanoes, also, anyone remember that little picture from the hubble, the X like meteor(supposedly two asteroids colliding at a perfect time that the hubble sees it). Israel is pretty much now alone in the world now because of the new Amerika.
The powerful CME’s from the sun lately, things are increasing in frequency, and severity. I was skeptical when all the end-timer’s came out after the Haitian earthquake, but now, seeing all these disasters, signs in the heavens, the state of the middle east, russia, china, amerika, I believe we are very close to the beginning of sorrows.

Gonna be a blast, to see biblical prophecies unfold before our very eyes. But who knows, I’m pretty sure it’s coming though, the past couple years I’ve had dreams of God coming to earth, gravity disappearing, nuclear wars, etc. etc. But not recently that I can remember, I don’t know the exact quote from the Bible, but something like “Old men will dream, and young men will have visions”.... Anyways toodaloo, gonna play some starcraft 2 and pwn some noobs!

The foreshadowing is clear.

I was not aware of this.
I knew in the not too distant past that they had a couple of red heifers, but that later they were declared blemished.
From my understanding the heifer must be 3 years old for sacrifice. Only time will tell if this one remains unblemished.
I can remember about 1990 was the first time I had heard of Israel wanting a pure red heifer, so when I hear of a story relating to one, it perks my interest.

No, it is not that simple. A Ram is a mature male and a lamb is a year old or less. G-d makes a clear distinction between the two and sometimes lists both a lamb and a ram in the same verse.
The lamb you cite in Exodus 12:5 is a male of the first year, a lamb. Not a Ram. If G-d would have wanted a Ram, he would have specified it.
Also, the Passover lamb is not a sin sacrifice. The sins of the Hebrews were not atoned for. The lamb was eaten and any remains burnt. Jesus was not eaten or burned. Nor was Jesus less than a year old.
A sin sacrifice is a female lamb. Lev 4:32 and others. Jesus was not female, nor was his blood drained and sprinkled, nor was he burnt on the alter.
In no way was there any foreshadowing and again, the whole lesson of the binding of Issac was that Abraham knew through faith that G-d would provide a substitute. Issac also had this faith as a willing participant. G-d has always rejected human sacrifice and has said he did not command it nor did it enter his mind. Anyone comitting human sacrificed was punished.
Christianity is engaging in eisegesis in asserting a rendering of the text that is plainly contrary to Christian doctrine.
The hebrew “seh” (Strong’s 7716) is exactly the same word in Genesis 22:8 as in Exodus 12:5
Genesis 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. (Lamb, שֶּׂה )
Exodus 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: (Lamb, שֶׂה)
As they should be, they both say lamb. But the word Ram is different.
22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. (Ram, אַיִל )
Also, the lamb named as a sin sacrifice is כֶּבֶשׂ Lev 4 :32 and many other places.
