Featured Term (selected at random):
A form of liturgical theology advocated by the Benedictine abbot Odo Casel in the early twentieth century. Its theological premise is that the Mass is a re-presentation of all the mysteries of Christ's life and not only the sacrificial death on the Cross. Its ritual stress in on such involvements of the faithful that they consider themselves real contributors to the liturgical action in which they take part.
