The Sun and the Son of God in Our Lives

Like everyone else, I have days when my outlook on life isn't exactly as Christian as it should be. The cloudy days with no sun are days that can sometimes be harder to get through. My zip and zest for life seems to wane. I realize that a day without the son of God is much much worse. The words of Jesus inspire me and make everything tolerable. The days without a sun are one thing, a day with out the son of God would seem to be intolerable to me now.

I posted this as a feel good article. I know we have had a lot of sunless days here with much rain. I'm glad we are not without the son of God!

I contend that depression/sadness with the state of world affairs on the part of Christians is sin unto us. Of all people, we should be the most optimistic...because we know the rest of the story. Fighting/bemoaning against that story is equivalent to Peter’s proclamation to Christ that “this shall never happen” when the Lord foretold His own death. In saying that, Peter displayed his lack of faith in the plan of God.

Rejoice - He is calling out a people to Himself in these last day, while bringing this chapter to a close. And contrary to “popular” opinion...that’s a good thing.
