Of course, we've aleady found out about Tradition.
2 Thess 2:15 "Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle. "
;0)
That's alot of "alones" you got there.
James 2:11 "Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only? "
You wrote:
“This could be dangerous. Especially when they find out that;
Salvation is by Grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone Ephesians 2:8-9.”
It isn’t. It is by grace alone through faith and the works Christ begins in us. James 2:24.
“That Mary wasn’t immaculately conceived, did have other children Matthew 13:55, and is NOT to be prayed to (nor any other saints) 1 Timothy 2:5.”
Mary was immaculately conceived, didn’t have other children (notice Jesus gave her to John?) and is an intercessor under the office of intercessor of Christ. Christ shares His gifts with His saints. That’s why they too shall join in the judging of the world.
The words "by faith alone" are not found in Ephesians 2, nor elsewhere in Ephesians, nor in Galatians, nor in Romans. The only place we read them in is James 2:24:
You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
Which is why Luther wanted that book removed from the Bible.
That Mary wasn't immaculately conceived, did have other children Matthew 13:55
There's not a single verse in the NT that identifies anyone except Jesus as a (biological) son or daughter of Mary.
Nowhere in Scripture does it say that Salvation is by faith alone. Nor does it say or does it solely imply that Justification is by faith alone. Yes Salvation is by grace alone. But I have no wish to go into the whole differences in teachings on justification and santification or the whole imputed, infused righteouness(sp) debate.
But as usual you like so many others assume Catholic must be ignorant on these matters. Shocking news but most of us are literate and the Holy Word of God does not burst into flames when we touch it.
