Obama and Tish Ba’Av Posted on July 20, 2010 by billrandles TISH BA AV AND OBAMA Today, July 20th- is Tish Ba’Av , the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av, is a date of momentous significance to the children of Israel. The date became infamous when twice the Holy Temple of the LORD was destroyed on the 9th of Av, once in 587 BC and once again in 70 AD. There has also been a whole series of calamities that have fallen upon Israel on this day, as Judaism .about.com relates:
587 BCE (3338)- The First Temple is destroyed by the Babylonians, led by Nebuchadnezzar. The Jews are sent into what later became known as the Babylonian Exile.
70 CE (3830)- The Second Temple is destroyed by the Romans, led by Titus.
135 CE (3895) – The Romans defeat Bar Kochba’s last fortress, Betar, and destroy his army. Bar Kochba himself is killed along with more than 100,000 other Jews. The Roman Emperor Hadrian turns Jerusalem into a Roman city.
1290 (5050) – King Edward I of England signs an edict expelling all Jews from England.
1492 (5252) – The Alhambra Decree takes effect, expelling the Jews from Spain and from all Spanish territories.
1914 (5674) – World War I begins when Germany declares war on Russia, setting the stage for World War II and the Holocaust.
1940 (5700) – Himmler presents his plan for the “Final Solution” to the Jewish problem to the Nazi Party.

I had not realized Barack Obama’s speech at the DMC was on Tisha B’Av. His friends and his supporters and his mentors and his philosophy are anti-Jewish, anti-Christian, anti-individual freedom and initiative, anti-family, anti-equality, anti-intellectual freedom. May God avert the current march toward tragedy in our day.

I’d like to question where and how you reached the conclusion that Tish b’Av was July 24th 2004. Unless I’m mistaken, that was the date of Obama’s DNC speech which skyrocketed him to superstar status? If you can help me reconcile the dates, I’d love to share some other interesting data about our new ruler.
I called Obama our new ruler, because this Tish b’ Av Obama passed his financial reform act into law. This act finally cements an Obama Dictatorship firmly in place. Try as we may over the next twenty years, we will never be rid of these new socialist laws.

I just trying to be correct Bill. I have the 24th. You must agree with me that this Tish Ba Av was a disaster for America with a new draconion Financial Regulation bill passed through Congress. Thanks, Pastor I have more material on Obama if you’re interested.
