Easy blood tests? What’s the doc’s theory?

Did he already take blood for those tests or are you going to have to go back for that?

All of the tests have been done at home. No point in driving to Boston to have blood drawn.
I’m doing OK as long as I don’t really strenuously exert myself.
He’s looking at tryptase levels.
They’re trying to determine what the mechanism is that is causing the reaction since it doesn’t seem to be the usual IgE pathway.
It’s still snowing......
Every day they extent the lake snow forecast.
They’re predicting rain this weekend, which is the worst thing to have with this kind of snowpack.
The local ski resorts opened already though. Hopefully, they’ll have a good Christmas break season.
We’ve yet to have our first snowfall. Usually, the first snow of the season is on or about Thanksgiving day. It is cold, however. Rain after snow is bad.

I hope you get better soon. I get despondent over my problems, and then I remember that there are people who can hardly even eat, and that puts it into perspective for me.

Excellent, as is my cholesterol.
For that matter, aside from the fact that I can hardly eat anything without reacting, I’m in great health.
Every test I’ve had keeps coming back normal or negative.
Did you ever contact that Doctor I mentioned some months ago?
Have you done any complete fasts, food and water?
No and no.

Things were very hectic in Aug and Sept with the kids going off to college. They’ve finally settled down and I could do that now.
It’s going to be very snowy downwind of the Great Lakes.
The lakes are really warm from this year and I’m not surprised at all over what we’re getting.
I fiugred a good cold Canadian blast in Dec would do this.
At least the ski resorts will be happy.
