Atheists got 65% right. Still pretty poor. They got about 5 more questions right than the worst.
32 out of 32. RC.
Well that’s lame.
I took the same test a few days ago and missed only one question but they want me to keep score?
I take mulligans all day long and don’t tell anyone.
I got 31 out of 32. Mormon. I missed the one about the First Great Awakening.
Good call.
This Catholic got 31 out of 32. Whoo-hoo!
I missed the same question.
The questions were mostly eastern religions, political.mormon .
I missed 2 of the 32.. both eastern religion questions
The Greek god question has more to do with classical literature and history than religion.
I would say question #32 was almost a trick question. If you didn’t read it carefully you might think they are asking what day is the Jewish Sabbath.
I wonder why they chose to phrase the question in this way, rather than, "Which is the king of the gods in Greek mythology?"
As they have it written, the correct answer would be either Yes or No.
That's not a question: it's a command. Why have they put a question mark on it?
You meant practicing Protestants as well of course, and how would they define them besides asking them?
Exactly, and the political questions as well.
I would not call this a “religious “ quiz
No, I would not tell you. Look it up in the encyclopedia, if you don't know.
“You meant practicing Protestants as well of course, and how would they define them besides asking them?”
Exactly! Though many refer to themselves as Christians/Catholics...it may be a name only.
Orthodox Presbyterian here, raised Southern Baptist. I got 31/32 right.
Yes, I do. I should get full credit for this answer, as well as for "No," if that were my response.
What is wrong with these people? Why can't they phrase a simple interrogative to elicit a factual answer?
I missed 1 question but all I need to know about religion is that Christ is my Savior and the only way to eternal life is through Him.
Exactly right. If someone is a Christian why would they want to know about Mormonism or Hinduism? The whole premise
that atheists are more knowledgeable about religion than are those who profess to be religious is wrong.
