Nor was it my point. I simply pointed out that since it so happens that you find the Scripture believable you then in that particular instance believe the Church. That you don't believe the Church otherwise is something for you to ponder.

Wow is that backwards.

Scripture comes first and last.

If the Catholic church happens to agree with it, then all it demonstrates is that at some point, the Catholic church got it right. I believe Scripture because I believe God. The Roman Catholic church has little to do with it.

How do you knwo the scripture reflects what God had to say?
