I just find it disingenuous when Protestants make fun of Catholics/Orthodox and their "empty rituals", while they themselves wave aimlessly in the air as if saying "I am here!" to an omnipresent omniscient God.

I've never seen Protestants making fun of them standing, sitting, kneeling ON COMMAND. It's pitiful. Don't take correction for condemnation. But that's the last thing Catholics want or can handle - correction. Besides, the RCC is a dead church - the mass is a ritual - so down pat you know exactly what will be said/done, the congregants response, etc. All ritual.

Aimlessly? They ALREADY know God is within them. You are coming from the RCC beliefs. You will never understand how/why Christians worship as they do since they KNOW God through fellowship.
