Islamic Genocide Documentary: The Devil Came On Horseback by Brian Steidle

I watched this documentary about genocide in Sudan after I learned that the slave trade has once again risen up in the world of Islam in Sudan. Even though this documentary is hard to watch, especially when you see the amount of evidence for the mass genocide and learn nothing is being done about it by the US government, the part between 100:00 and 103:35 is very touching for me. Even though most of the aid sent from the US is stolen before it gets to people in need, the only thing these people have comes from America and this man says he is so grateful to the American People and the “free world”. Even though they are Muslims,,, no help comes from any Islamic countries, and that is because they are black African Muslims which the Arab Muslim controlled Sudanese Government have decided to kill in masses.

Sounds like the people who don't want our troops to be in Iraq or Afghanistan would like to see our troops in Darfur. Bad as the situation is in Darfur, I'm not sure sending our troops would do any good. I'm convinced sending African "peacekeepers" would be worse than useless.

If we decide we do have a dog in this fight, let's make sure we understand what the goal is, and how we intend to achieve it, before we go on.

Hi Joe, I support our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and think they are where they need to be. When I said the US Gov. is not doing anything about this, I was by no means thinking we should be sending troops. But IF our leaders really wanted to, they could pressure the “global community” (I hate that word) to do something.

I’m afraid that Africa as whole could possibly light ablaze after January when the southern Sudan votes to succeed from the north. So the problem is much bigger than Darfur.

THANKS for the comment!
