CC - my understanding of the heresy of mormonism is that people are first spirits who result from the celestial sex between Heavenly Father and one of the Heavenly Mommas [”Oooo, look at her! She’s heavenly!!”]

You are writing that spirits are eternal. Can you reconcile these two thoughts?

I think Reaganaut did a fine job in the preceding post when she stated that spirit children were born to heavenly father and heavenly mother. However, the ‘intelligences’ that make up our soul/psyche are NOT created, they existed forever.

Also God cannot create or destroy matter (He is not omnipotent in Mormonism) - He can only ‘organize it’.

I was confused - what is the difference between intelligence and spirit anyway? I always did have problems with Mormon theology.
