The Anglican bishop of Massachusetts, the Rt Revd M Thomas Shaw SSJE, witnesses the "marriage" of the Very Reverend Katherine Hancock Ragsdale and Mally Lloyd, Canon to the Ordinary on New Year's Day 2011.

By Father James Bradley of St John the Baptist Church, Sevenoaks, Kent who, by the way, are using the Evangelium course to learn about the Catholic Faith.

Instead of leave, one can join with the Anglican Mission in the Americas; started by the Anglican Church of Rwanda to bring back traditional Christian values to the church. In other words, Africa is coming back to mission to us. It is a great thing to see.

Once the holy spirit has left the building you may as well call the realtors.

Was there an article accompanying this abomination, although the picture said quite enough. At least the so called “Reverend” Ms. Ragsdale didn’t wear her clerical clothing for this sham of a marriage.

We are seeing quite a few African priests here also. The RC church first went into Africa and now they are sending priests to us. How wonderful!

Anglicans, or Episcopalians?

This is why I converted to Orthodoxy from Episcopalian Church. And I found out that it is the ‘best’...but when isn’t the original ever not the ‘best’.

IMO ANY church that recognizes same sex fornication as equal to Marriage— or that has redefined “marriage” from the Biblical Model of one man and one woman is No church worthy of the name of Christ. What they they do for convenience is not
Christian but apostacy.

Go to youtube and check for this Ragsdale and “Abortion is a blessing”. I kid you not, she actually chanted that

Thanks for your post. Yes, sadly, unfortunately, I have seen and read all about Ragsdale’s rants. She, along with her so-called “betrothed”, are apostates and that surely includes the “bishop” who performed the sham of a marriage ceremony. I’m amazed lightning hasn’t already struck Ragsdale and her cohorts.

They have completed the ruin of the ECUSA. It's such a pity, this was the Church George Washington worshipped in, a conservative bastion. But in hindsight we see that it went down the slippery slope from 1930s when it okayed contraceptives. From that until the 50s and okaying abortions, then 80s and priestess (like our dear VERY Reverend Ragsdale) and gay bishops like Gene Robinson and the "abortion is a blessing" crowd seems like an inevitable ride downhill.

The ECUSA is a lesson for every Church out there on what NOT to do

I only feel sorry for the very Christian folks still left (if there are any) who can't leave because they've been with the ECUSA for generations and can't imagine anywhere else. They've tried to "accomodate" and now they are in deep doo-doo
