The Beast of Revelation may not be a man. It could instead be a Religion; the Church of The Beast, The Church of The Dragon, the Synagogue of Satan. The heads of The Beast could be seven major churches or synagogues of this religion; just as there were seven churches to which John wrote. Each Synagogue may represent one of Seven Sins: Blasphemy, Slavery, Tyranny, Power, Hubris, Rage, Evil; just as there are Seven Virtues*.
Each of these synagogues of The Church of the Beast would have an outward agent. Each Sin would have an outward representative. The Agent and the Representative are ONE PERSON. These "Agents" might represent the "Ten Horns" of The Beast -- i.e., the Church of The Beast.
Has the first "Half a Time" of the "Time, Times, and Half a Time"** mentioned in Daniel begun? Is this "Half a Time" the 42 months of Revelation 13:5 ?
**(I interpret it to possibly be a period of 17.5 years and NOT 3 years as some assert. With the first 3.5 years being both the first "Half a time" as well as the 42 months mentioned in Revelation 13:5)
* (The seven virtues are broken into seven minor (female?) and three major (male?), or Cardinal, Virtues. The minor virtues being forbearance, justice, fortitude, and wisdom; with the three Cardinal virtues, of course, being: Faith, Hope, and Charity.)
