This is something I was never taught in school! I never knew this did you?
We've been so lied to by our educators, MSM, and our politicians.
Absolutely right....it is worse than you think. The education system was taken over by FabianProgressive socialists in the 30’s—maybe earlier...Since the DOE was created their tentacles reach into every school—the textbooks have been created by Communists like Dr. Rugg and Dr. Counts..and Bill Ayers types...who are out to destroy this country.
They (John Dewey) intentionally quit “educating” children...social indoctrination to create secular humanists who can’t think....so they can be turned into a herd.....conform to one group-think.
They took out the study of the Constitution and Declaration and inserted the “social” sciences. The forced schooling/one classroom of same age group was used for mass conformity....all the “out of the box” thinkers like Edison, Wright Bros. etc. were humiliated and nudged into the “right” way to think—the “feel good do it” and no intellectual content. The schools are putting out self-absorbed, sex-obsessed, immoral atheists with absolutely no discipline.
They had control of the press and destroyed people who would expose their plans and curricula or infiltration....(Joe McCarthy).
The PC is to shut up people and destroy them if they go off the reservation, so to say.
They are destroying Christianity and the Family unit to cause chaos so they can take over everything. Gramsci and Marcuse and Lukacs knew it was these two pillars that gave America the strength and knowledge to fight their agenda.

Public schools have not been about educating children for well over 100 years but instead it has been about “social reform” as defined be humanists.
“I believe that education is the fundamental method of social progress and reform.” John Dewey...originally published as part of his “Pedagogic Creed” in 1897 and again in “Education Today” in 1940.
John Dewey was a signer of the “Humanist Manifesto (1933)” which has the following items mentioned...
“The time is past for mere revision of traditional attitudes.”
“Ninth: In place of old attitudes involved in worship and prayer the humanist finds his religious emotions expressed in a heightened sense of personal life and in a cooperative effort to promote social well-being.”
“Tenth: It follows that there will be no uniquely religious emotions and attitudes of the kind hitherto associated with belief in the supernatural.”
“Man is at last becoming aware that he alone is responsible for the realization of the world of his dreams, that he has within himself the power for its achievement.”
And another signer of this “Humanist Manifesto (1933)” was Charles Francis Potter who states in his book, “Humanism A New Religion” published in 1930...
“Education is thus a most powerful ally of Humanism, and every American public school is a school of Humanism. What can the theistic Sunday schools, meeting for an hour once a week, and teaching only a fraction of the children, do to stem the tide of a five-day program of humanistic teaching?”
Forty years later the humanists decided to release another manifesto...”Humanist Manifesto 2 (1973)”. In this one there are statements such as...
“While there is much that we do not know, humans are responsible for what we are or will become. No deity will save us; we must save ourselves.”
“Promises of immortal salvation or fear of eternal damnation are both illusory and harmful.”
“The conditions of work, education, devotion, and play should be humanized. Alienating forces should be modified or eradicated...”
“...a minimum guaranteed annual income.”
“We believe in the right to universal education.”
“We deplore the division of humankind on nationalistic grounds.”
“What more daring a goal for humankind than for each person to become, in ideal as well as practice, a citizen of a world community.”

Thank you for the informative post! I knew a lot about this because I have read several books but hadn’t heard all the Dewey quotes. I did not know he signed the Humanist Manifesto. The Underground History of American Education by Gato and The Cloning of the American Mind (eradicating morality from the schools) by Eakman were the first I knew about the infiltration of our schools.
The Closing of the American Mind really explains the Postmodern German Philosophy from the 19th century that infected the modern philosophy that our nation was founded on.
It is disgusting how ignorant people are now because of our intentional dumbing down the children. Such an incredible shame...those designers of the curricula should be hanged for their destruction of so many people. It is so evil to destroy the minds of little children. Psychologists and psychiatrists are also responsible for not identifying this “dumbing” indoctrination...they had to know about it also and needed to alert the parents...They and the press were in league with these Progressive/socialists. Evil, evil people.
