I am sorry to read about your pain in losing your friend. I suggest you read the sermon “Too Bruised to be Touched” by Father Ron Rollheiser (found copy at link below). His perspective has helped others I know who are trying to live with and make any kind of sense out of suicide loss.

My son tested positive for TB in a blood draw and had a chest x-ray yesterday to see if his lungs show any signs of the disease.

Just keep holding on. It takes months or years sometimes, but soon you’ll find yourself laughing again, even if just a little. Part of you is dead and will never return, but even in the night a new part is already taking its place.
