Killed, passing out
Bibles.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord
And may perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.
Amen.

They won the crown. I believe with all my heart they are with God today, he continued, calling eternal life the gift and blessing of faithful people. Indeed.

Every news report leaves out that these fine folks were passing out bibles. It’s as if there is NO CONNECTION between the bibles and their deaths at the hands of Islamic Somali pirates.

No group of third world punks would dare harm an American citizen if they had any respect for our country and our government. They know our government is weak and they can do whatever they want and there will be no consequences. I fear for the future of our country.
The story is very touching, the victims were good people.

O God of spirits and of all flesh, You have trampled upon death and have abolished the power of the devil, giving life to Your world. Give rest to the souls of Your departed servants Jean and Scott in a place of light, in a place of repose, in a place of refreshment, where there is no pain, sorrow and suffering. As a good and loving God, forgive every sin they have committed in thought, word or deed, for there is no one who lives and does not sin. You alone are without sin. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your word is truth. For You are the resurrection, the life and the repose of Your departed servants, Christ our God, and to You we give glory, with Your eternal Father and Your allholy, good and life‑giving Spirit, now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen.

You gotta die sometime, and dying while doing what you love is a better way to go than most.

Thank you, Lord, for the glory of martyrdom given Thy elect.
May Thy servants Scott and Jean rejoice in Thy embrace and be light to us.
[54] Now hearing these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed with their teeth at him. [55] But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looking up steadfastly to heaven, saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. And he said: Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. [56] And they crying out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and with one accord ran violently upon him. [57] And casting him forth without the city, they stoned him; and the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man, whose name was Saul. [58] And they stoned Stephen, invoking, and saying: Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. [59] And falling on his knees, he cried with a loud voice, saying: Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep in the Lord. (Acts 7)
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
