The other was given by Perry Stone in 1998 and dealt with the September 11th attacks and the fact that God would be removing His protection from our country in a short while due to our sins and lawlessness. I’ve heard others since then confirm Perry’s vision or whatever he had, stating that a time of Judgment was at hand for our nation, but none went into any kind of great detail, just a general pronouncement that the chance for our nation to repent was almost over.

The lady claims to have seen the Lord; that would make her an apostle.
If you cant apply Christ’s words to extra-biblical prophecies then those verses I cited are useless. Either we have been told all things by Him and his apostles or not.

The only thing that worries me about Chuck Colson’s vision, or whatever it was, is I don’t know if he actually had a vision or if this was a literary device to drive home another, larger, point. I suspect it was an actual vision, but I could see where some might say otherwise. Does anyone know if Colson ever clarified if this was a true event that he was referring too or if it was something else?

Ok, I see where you are coming from now and I tend to agree. I know my gut (Spirit?) feeling when reading it was that it was dangerous to take it at face value. The caution against false prophets in the last days would be the first caution.

“all things” can have layers of meaning.

I’d have thought that layers of meaning was something RC folks were extremely familiar with.

Sounds like, in this case, you’re trying to insist that it also includes the particular spin of each and every electron in each and every atom in each and eery material object in all creation.

And who should mary whom on what day in what place and when they should have marital relations for precisely how many minutes and microseconds long etc. etc. etc.
