John, I know you are not anti-Israel. Of all people, I know you are not. MOST people do not know the underlying reason for use of the word and with everything that is happening in the world today emotion, at least on my part, is running high. I WISH more people understood the concept of “the big lie.” It isn’t something that grows into a full-fledged 200 foot redwood tree overnight. First they plant the seedling and then they nurture it. This has been hundrds of years in the making. arafat used it in its final form.
I went through the first intifada. This is shaping up to be yet another, perhaps far worse, and America, at least the government, has turned its back.
Never, never in a million years would I accuse YOU of being anti-Israel. I respect you and as I said in my first post, I consider you a friend.
I have long believed that America would turn her back on Israel to America’s great hurt.
However, I have always felt that
GOD ALMIGHTY would, in the final analysis and at some critical point,
NOT ALLOW
ANY OTHER THING, ENTITY, COUNTRY, GROUP, ANYTHING
TO BE ISRAEL’S PROTECTOR.
THAT GOD ALMIGHTY IS DETERMINED TO BE ISRAEL’S OVERTLY SOLE, ONLY, TOTAL PROTECTOR.
And HE WILL show Himself mighty in Israel’s behalf—probably after a period of severe discipline for Israel being a largely secular, God forsaking country.
