It sucks when you laugh so hard you get popcorn stuck in you nose.
Yep
Ya can’t fool a kid.
Sadly some adults, not so much.
The Church's first article of faith states, "We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost." These three beings make up the Godhead. They preside over this world and all other creations of our Father in Heaven.
I realize Jesus in the LDS is a progressed being but none the less, he is in the godhead. I realize the christian godhead is constructed differently. The point is, both LDS and Christianity have Jesus in the godhead and by definition humanity in the godhead. Jesus is a hypostatic union that is 100%god and 100%man. Jesus' humanity, according to Christianity, did not cease to exist. There for both Mormonism and Christianity have a human being in the godhead. That of course from the Jewish perspective is heresy.
Speaking of shorts...

Well those are indeed “Sci Fi Shorts”...
I am not raging...I dont know why you think that. I am also not saying they are the same, they clearly are not.
Christians on a daily basis rail on mormons on FR. Okay, fine. I think it is only reasonable to challenge you (And in turn get challegened back), to think of implications of your own faith, compared to the Original faith....Jewish (And Noahide) doctrine. I bet very few freepers have a clue, why Jews dont believe in Jesus, from the Jewish perspective. So, I like to engage my FReeper Christian friends, to hopefully shed a little light (from my point of view) on what are serious flaws....just like they shed light on mormonism every single day on FR.
I see no harm in having people think about what they believe and why. Is is a polemical discussion.
Ha ha! Big flippin' deal!!
There are about 50,000 of US pounding on DOORS every day!
I said..."Okay Fine"....I think mormons should be challenged, they are totally deceitful...in spite of having "nice families". And that is what polemic discussion is all about. Some people get tweaked when I challege them, like they do the mormons. (Both you a Colofornia have always been good sports although we disagree totally!)
I look back on the path that MY life has followed, and realize that it takes a lot of small things, adding together, to finally affect a change in attitude.
At least it does for me.
I would say you don’t ask why I believe what I believe you state before asking that what I believe is wrong.
Ok; WHY do you believe something that is OBVIOUSLY wrong? ;^)
