Europe wasn’t founded consciously and deliberately on Christian principles and values.

Neither was America. It was founded in the principles of the Scottish Enlightenment, some of which was influenced by Reformed Christianity, but its laws and culture were Greco-Roman. Jefferson himself denied any foundation of Judeo-Christian principles in either the Common Law, or the American Founding which followed, and he illustrated the history that backed up his claim. Palestine was a backwater of the Roman Empire. It had no influence on the Roman Law brought to Germanic tribes (including the Anglo-Saxons) while they were still pagans.

The Congress itself, scant years after the Founding passed an explicit resolution that America was NOT a Christian nation in making a treaty with the Barbary Pirates. "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion;" That section of the treaty was not contested by a single member of the Senate. This, at a time when the nations of Europe usually referred to themselves as Christian Nations, and believed that their monarchs ruled by the grace of the Christian God.

Repeating the same lie over and over doesn't make it the truth.

There’s a book out listing quite a number of such correlations.

Uh huh. And ignoring the infinite number of cases where there is NO CORRELATION. There's a book out proving Jim Morrison is still alive. That doesn't make him alive.

Many of us are expecting the New Madrid quake to go off big time

Many of you are extremely silly, and you've been predicting this for months.

I predict that there is going to be another tornado outbreak before the end of June! And I predict that there is going to be another tornado outbreak -- lasting for several weeks -- again next May!

And by the way, please notice the enormous overlap between the people who believe that there's a connection to buying freeze dried meals and a return to pre-Cambrian geology and those who believe 9/11 was an inside job. If you're one of those people, please don't post to me. Please don't ever post to me. Truthers are despicable jackasses, and I won't even stoop to rebut their bilge, let alone argue with such colossal ignorance.

However, nothing here. Move along.

Actually the first sensible thing you've said. And nothing you've said here proves that God had anything to do with natural evils being visited specifically on the United States of America. The God you believe in is vicious and hate-filled, and murders innocent people, many of whom don't agree with the President about Israel or anything else. I wouldn't live in his universe for a single nanosecond -- and thankfully, I don't -- and neither do you.

Take your Soma and smile to all the cameras as you walk down the street.

The only ones who're "on something" here are those who believe this pathetic, laughable tripe.

The tornado death toll for 2011 is now 523. Until now, the highest recorded death toll in a single year was 519 in 1953. There were deadlier years before 1950, but those counts were based on estimates and not on precise figures.

Whether or not the tornadoes had anything to do with policy toward Israel (which I put a great deal of stock in because the pro-Israel parts of the country are the ones being hit with these storms and because the Arabs and the Euros are getting off scott free), but your blind-faith dogmatic assertion that the G-d of Israel doesn't exist and that this is not His universe, much less the evil and hypocritical remark about the Holy One Blessed is He are just too much. Plus they are shot through and through with the hatred you hypocritically claim to condemn.

The very idea that there exists some sort of objective external moral/ethical standard by which the Creator of the Universe may be judged is ridiculous. Apart from the Decrees of the Creator there are no objective moral/ethical standards at all . . . only subjective hang-ups. And those hang-ups do not become one whit less subjective because they are held by a majority of the human race, or even by the entirety of the human race.

If you want to "prove" that we don't live in the universe of the G-d of Israel, then do this: find anywhere in human history of a second claim to national revelation as the basis of a religion. Why has there been only one? Don't random events happen more than once? Why is every other religion in human history either mythological or else historically founded by some human being? Why has only one religion ever claimed to have been founded directly by G-d Himself (the invisible G-d, not a "prophet" or even a demigxd) and historically at a particular moment in history?

C'mon, you can surely do that, can't you? 'Cause if you can't . . . even you know you're living in the Jewish G-d's universe whether you want to admit it or not!

I bet you consider yourself a "philo-semite" because of your "enlightenment" beliefs! Phooey!
