You’d think that Mormons, with their current solicitude for image despite the deadly feuds of centuries ago, would be squeaky clean in this matter. That they would honor the proper secular protocols for bringing in foreign nationals that are tied to their religious missions. I couldn’t disagree more with their theology (which looks like an Asimov sci-fi novel stuck in the middle of a King James bible), but any religious group knows it has to deal with these issues.
