10 Quotes By Barack Obama About Islam

#1 "Islam has always been part of America"

#2 "we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities"

#3 "These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings."

#4 "America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings."

#5 "So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed"

#6 "Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality"

#7 "As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith."

#8 "I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month."

#9 "That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn't. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear."

#10 "I also know that Islam has always been a part of America's story."

10 Quotes By Barack Obama About Christianity

#1 "Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation"

#2 "We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation."

#3 "Which passages of scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is an abomination? Or we could go with Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith?"

#4 "Even those who claim the Bible's inerrancy make distinctions between Scriptural edicts, sensing that some passages - the Ten Commandments, say, or a belief in Christ's divinity - are central to Christian faith, while others are more culturally specific and may be modified to accommodate modern life."

#5 "The American people intuitively understand this, which is why the majority of Catholics practice birth control and some of those opposed to gay marriage nevertheless are opposed to a Constitutional amendment to ban it. Religious leadership need not accept such wisdom in counseling their flocks, but they should recognize this wisdom in their politics."

#6 From Obama's book, The Audacity of Hope: "I am not willing to have the state deny American citizens a civil union that confers equivalent rights on such basic matters as hospital visitation or health insurance coverage simply because the people they love are of the same sex—nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount."

#7 "I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I can't imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. That's just not part of my religious makeup."

#8 "Those opposed to abortion cannot simply invoke God’s will--they have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths."

#9 On his support for civil unions for gay couples: "If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount."

#10 "I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people."

“Muslim members of our Armed Forces and of my administration are serving their fellow Americans with distinction, upholding our nation’s ideals of liberty and justice in a world at peace.”

Muslims worldwide have stretched out a hand of mercy to those in need. Muslims often invite members of other families to their evening iftar meals, demonstrating a spirit of tolerance.”

we respect the vibrant faith of Islam which inspires countless individuals to lead lives of honesty, integrity, and morality. This year, may Eid also be a time in which we recognize the values of progress, pluralism, and acceptance that bind us together as a Nation and a global community.

“Islam brings hope and comfort to millions of people in my country, and to more than a billion people worldwide. Ramadan is also an occasion to remember that Islam gave birth to a rich civilization of learning that has benefited mankind.”

Islam, as practiced by the vast majority of people, is a peaceful religion, a religion that respects others.

Millions of our fellow citizens are Muslim. We respect the faith. We honor its traditions.

“Islam is a faith that brings comfort to people. It inspires them to lead lives based on honesty, and justice, and compassion.”

“Islam is a faith that brings comfort to a billion people around the world. It’s a faith that has made brothers and sisters of every race. It’s a faith based upon love, not hate.”

“The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That’s not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace.

nor am I willing to accept a reading of the Bible that considers an obscure line in Romans to be more defining of Christianity than the Sermon on the Mount.”***********

What’s funny is that in the 2006 speech where he attacks Deuteronomy and Leviticus he then goes on to attack the Sermon on the Mount.

Clearly he is not a Christian and there is in fact no real Biblical impulse to be found anywhere in his being. He is in fact a Muslim just as he stated unequivocally to Egyptian Foreign Minister Aboul Gheit in Jan 2010.

#10 I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.

He's dead on right with this one. The paths lead to Hell, and the higher power is Satan.

Is Obama the Antichrist? I do not make these kinds of statements. The apocalypse may be a million years off. But he's beginning to do a GOOD impression of him.

"Islam has always been part of America"

Absolutely false. The early Muslim presence in America was limited to slaves, and most of them converted to Christianity. Muslims didn't start immigrating until the mid 1800s, and the first mosque in this country wasn't even built until the early 1900s -- they had maybe a couple dozen by the 1950s.

The greatest influence Islam had on the forming of this country was as our enemies in the Barbary pirates.

#5 under Islam is ultimately the most telling. His use of the term “revealed” is a blatant endorsement of the notion that Islam is divinely inspired. That, as much as anything else, demonstrates that his claim to be a Christian is pure window dressing.

“Neither, he is satan”.

I do truly believe he is evil. Whether he worships satan or simply does evil on his own... I don’t know. However, when I look at him and listen to him... I feel cold and sense his true evil.

“Then you believe he is a type of an anti-christ?”

Not really...
While the comparisons to Nicoli Carpathia are frightening, I believe the Anti-Christ would, at the very least, APPEAR to be competent.

Remember there will be many anti-christs, but only one Anti-Christ. I asked if you think he is a type of into-christ, emphasis on the small a and small c.

Wouldn’t call him an anti-Christ. Although this nobody coming out of nowhere with no record of pretty much anything(yeah, he was born in Hawaii granted) managed to get to the most important position in the free world without being vetted.

Biblically though, a prophecy is coming true. With his temper tantrums and immature behavior, “and a child shall lead them” sort of fits his acting like a little kid.
