I’m not that familiar with such Morman “rites”, if that is even the right word. Did/do they exist? Would Romney have taken them? Don't know, don't care.
All I know is that America was founded by people fleeing religious persecution.

All I know is that America was founded by people fleeing religious persecution.I agree. I really don't care if Romney is a Mormon. In fact, ALL religions put their faith in a God first. Even our founding fathers had faith in the divine.
Personally, I find Romney repulsive, but it has nothing to do with his faith.
